Building decks - Question :)

By SolidSmile, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Hey peeps

I just finished the core campaign and it was awesome!(I died at the end, but still...a lot of fun:D)

I'm new to this types of games and I have a few questions...

I will soon have the dunwich legacy expansion and I want to start with another investigator...when I build a deck, do I only use the cards from that expansion or can I also use the cards from the core set as well?

And also, if you can use core set cards, can I put Lita in my deck as well? She was a card that you could gain trough the campaign in the core set, but can I put her in the deck right away as a common card when starting the dunwich campaign?

Thanks in advance for answering a noob question! :D

All cards are evergreen - build your decks with whichever player cards you want!

However, Story Assets (like Lita) can only be added by campaign effect. The only way to keep her through Dunwich is to use the same decks from Night of the Zealot, complete with all earned Assets, Weaknesses, XP, and Trauma.

Use all the player cards available to you (from Core set and all expansions)!! But I think Lita goes with a specific campaign and you wouldn't include her.

Just remember when starting a campaign, you can only use zero level cards. If you look at Lita, because she is a story asset, her card has no level, thus is not eligible for deck construction or even to be bought later using XP. As the previous posters stated, story assets can only be attained through gameplay of a campaign.

thanks for the help guys! Really appreciate it! :)

Hey peeps, when you random select basic weakness for the deck, do you also mix the core set with the expansion ones or do you use just the ones from the expansion? :D

Every Basic Weakness you own is pooled together; except only use 1 Core Set's worth even if you own multiple Cores.

Got it...you've been really helpful mate, thanks!
