I'll lead off saying I'm generally not a Biggs player or a huge meta rider. I may never even fly this list in practice, but I'm checking 'my math' as it were. I was totally wrong about the FS2.0 when it was thrown out to the world but now I'm forced to see it as a powerful strategy. That said, I don't have a wookie ship and probably won't buy one. This list is by no means equal to that, but I'm curious if it still functions at a competitive level if a competent player were to fly it. Considering my poor list building strategies and less than competent play, we can safely assume it will not be winning tournaments.
- Biggs (26) - R4-D6, Integrated Astro
- Rex (14)
- Wes Janson (32) - Draw Their Fire, R3-A2, Integrated Astro
- Roark Garnet (26) - TLT, Inspiring Recruit
- 98 Points Total
So the first two pieces are standard. No description needed as everybody knows how these work. Janson provides that secondary place to put a couple of crits, can toss stress if necessary and can act defensively against alpha lists by removing target locks or other tokens from his target. Roark lifts Rex to fire early against most lists, or Janson against an aces cruise missile lists, and Roark has TLT for 360 consistent damage.
The list lacks Selflessness, so it's not near as defensive. I could exchange the Inspiring recruit for Jan Ors so Biggs can evade to prevent one damage guaranteed a round, I do have some points to play with. The Inspiring Recruit is more to deal with R3-A2 coming into play after a k-turn or Biggs suffering from damage and relying on R4-D6... not that I've triggered that fickle droid too much.
Thoughts? How bad is it?
