I don't really want to maintain 2 separate versions. If enough people prefer it the other way I can switch it back. For that matter, anyone can use all the resources I provided to make whatever layout they want.

I pulled your excel sheet, it is still old format on my Google drive ?. Now I just need a more recent excel 2004 is getting a bit tired.
Thanks for the sheet! Good work!
Added Outland Scouts.
I've also been maintaining the 'original' white modifiers right type format, not as pretty as I use excel like 2004? Haven't fully vetted it for any changes albeit, yet.

Do you think you could add what dice colors they use?

Totally possible, but not entirely relevant to a dial reference. I can see the utility of a more universal reference, though.

Easily with letters like W B R (I'm not a graphics wizard who isolates outlines like Contrapulator here).
(or you know, make 3 diamonds in paint in 30s), and yeah I don't know how to make transparent stuff, go team
Edited by DarthainIf you add the dice, the defense and wound threshold should be printed too. All 3 information (dice, defense/wound and dial) are useful and important open information.
And thanks for your work!
Edited by tkundnobodyGood job!
As neat as universal reference sounds, dice/armour/wounds is pretty easy to remember or ask your opponent about. The dial reference shines in not having tonask your opponent if x has a march at y, and potentially giving tells.

Also, the defense and wounds for each unit are on the back of their dial which should be facing you.
Do you also want the ability text on the unit card?

How about a simple dial reference and another reference with additional info on each unit?

Yes, it'll be a separate thing. I won't clutter the dial reference with any extraneous information.
Have been working on my own chart for a while, and I did a test with the addition of the card's visual for each unit. I think it helps a lot to quickly identify the info you're looking for.

Eight unit dials can fit on a 8x11 sheet, 10 if you remove the title bar and the ability tabs. Note that the text for Hawthorne's chain attack ability is barely readable once printed though (on a cheap laser printer).

wow, that's pretty slick integration of contra's tables.
Looks good @Xargonaut ! I might make something similar, but maybe now I don't have to, lol.
So... I did it anyway. I started over from scratch and took the icons from the dials this time. Here's a preview of version 2.0:
That looks a lot better than o thought it would with all the info crammed in there. And with the card art, identifying the dial you're looking at is very intuitive. Excellent work!
**** that's sharp.
I did not know I need this! Ty!
After double and triple checking everything, version 2.0 should be totally accurate now (fingers crossed). Hopefully I'll be updating again on Monday, if FFG is good to us.
I really like how @Xargonaut did his with the information. Works really good.

Okay, let me know what you think of this. I think it turned out super well!
My only gripe is that I don't have a higher resolution "unique surge" icon. If anyone can scan it for me or find it somewhere that would be awesome.
