Nym + Autoblater Turret + Accuracy Correctors

2 guaranteed damage is nice but it isn't necessarily impressive given red dice creep.

Nym is almost def taking more damage range 1 than whatever he's shooting at

Of there's low health aces, which were always matchups skewed to either dominate or die (or swing games with un/lucky dice) so I can't say I'll miss em

And there's still PTW ships, where you land next to them with your Autoblaster and yes you get up to two hits in, but then get some modified 4 dice Range 1 shot.

And you don't consider the bombs, it's 2 auto hits+2 red dice (which you can't dodge).

PS10 is less than relevant when you're talking about PS3 Scarif Defenders. I think the PS10 boost/barrel roll shenanigans is definitely more impressive when you're trying to line up an autoblaster turret and agree Nym is better with that. With a Twin Laser Turret, it's much less of an issue.

That's also a degree of schitzophrenia in trying to use the twin laser turret on nym - you want to get up close to drop bomblets, which is likely to limit your options for the twin laser turret.

Rebel Nym doesn't need to get close to drop bombs, he places them on his way around to discourage people from flying places where he doesn't want them to go. IMO, Scum Nym is all about the in your face, Rebel Nym is all about kiting and shepherding you into the bombs or the other ship/s in the list.

Eh. As long as you have AC you're free to drop a bomb then barrel roll for range control, so you aim to end your move in bomb range then BR or boost out to TLT range. It's a lot safer in general and against the mirror with an opposing ABT Nym, you can target him a LOT easier than he can target you. You don't have to care about the bombs, you just aim to stay at range 3 of him and watch him melt.

All true, but in some turn, with the AC and AT and PS 10, You can bomb, when you run into something and shoot something else. It's also possible that other target will take 2 from your Turret and 2 from bomblet which you have no way to stop.
