Question on Rally Cry

By forge, in Runewars

Hi all

During the course of a battle after the five rounds of combat

can the defending player use the Tactic Card Rally cry to stand up his units that were routed during the current course of battle, coz I saw in the FAQ Corey's answer was the defending player can stand up units that were already routed before the battle. There is no mention of units that were routed in the current battle ?

Thanks

you can play the card during combat, according to corey... so yes

EDIT: Wrong question. Yes, you can.

Also, it's not according to Corey you can use it during combat. It says it on the card.

true, but I sent the question to corey regarding whether I could play the card at the beginning of combat, and he told me yes I could play it before, during and after battle, so it IS from corey... as well as on the card.

:P

Before and after? I suppose, as long as it's on your turn. Again, not from Corey, even if he confirmed what was on the card.

If you play it mid-battle, keep in mind it only will be 'helpful' to stand up units routed in the battle. You CAN use it to stand up units that are in the area (but not participating in the battle because they were routed), but per an email from Corey, those units are NOT added to the battle and would still be destroyed if you lose the battle (since only the defender will have routed units in the area).

If you play it during Step 1 of the battle, the stood-up units in the area could be added to the battle, though.
