I wanted to share my favorite Sci-Fi terrain with you guys as I'm pretty sure many of you are looking for a good solution right about now
This is the classic Hexagon Construction set. it is just about the worst box I have seen. no really you can build great stuff with this kit and that is what they put on the box?
out of the box it's super easy to spray prime and wash these parts while on sprue. don't worry about the small blemishes on the connection points. they are nearly invisible when finished.
here are the sprue out of the box. note when I say classic I mean old tooling from the dawn of wargaming, some of these pieces will be covered in sharp brutal flashing.
this is what they look like after a simple prime coat and cool grey wash.
the system is made up of flat walls of various shapes and clips that will hold the walls at various angles.
to make the wash use any acrylic floor wax, acrylic Matt medium, water and the color of your choice. this will give you an amazingly durable finish.
