And for everyone really wanting more updates, this is held on the bottom floor of the hotel and there's practically no reception at all in the large convention room where the games are played. There's no wifi, not even for hotel guests, and I expect connectivity will be even more problematic with more people showing up today and tomorrow.

Woof that was a hard loss to Steve. He played excellently, but I made a huge misjudgment on how sharply I could make a turn and he obliterated me for it.
Ended up in 7th place for heat 2, ill get photos up later tonight.
Note that the first place finisher for heat 2 couldn't stay for the final cut tomorrow, so it has been passed to 2nd and 3rd positions.
