There is a way to allways get two defense tokens locked down on the enemy. If you purchase sensor team and quad turbo laser.
Have anyone tried this with success. It is a great way to take out those fast evading Rebel ships with an ISD.

You can also do it with a LMC80 or a Cymoon ISD using H9 Turbolasers and Quad Turbolaser Cannons. It's just expensive either way, is all. Vader and QTC can get stuff done with the new Cymoon, too.
Don't forget Home One and QTC as well
Just not as imperials.
Slone, half a dozen tie lns activated by a ship.... what tokens on a rebel ship??

Or H9+QTB - well, at medium range anyway...red isn't guaranteed.
Vader, QTCs, Leading shots and a VSDII or ISDII.
It isn't guaranteed but 2 sets of rerolls on 3-4 red dice should get you a decent chance. If the reds don't deliver then go for a pair of blue accuracies since there are no blanks on the dice and it can't get any worse.
It is guaranteed because sensors team let you change one die to lock.
you chose change one red die and then you automatically get two locks with quad turbo laser.
It is only a one time per activation if you can't refresh your sensor team card. But still for 15 points it will severely make problems for defending enemy ships.

The biggest issue is giving up Weapons Team slot for a Sensor Team that effectively decreases the damage you can deal. I played a lot of QTC variations when the Lib first came out. I found the best way to use it is Spinal and QTC and Gunnery Team. With concentrate fire, you have a very likely chance to pull an Acc.
ECM counters it. 7 points vs 19 points. SA+QTC is most effective against flotillas and ships without redundant defense tokens. If you pull 2 Acc on an ISD, they will still get the Redirect, so hitting Brace and Contain isn't all that effective until you strip the shields.
The Cymoon will be the best ship to carry QTC because you can reroll all red dice at long with Vader. Also, if you roll an Acc in the initial roll, you can use Vader to reroll the QTC Acc into more damage. Effectively, the Cymoon with SA, QTC, and CF can roll 8 red dice. 5+1+Acc+1, all rerolled off Vader. And then you do it again with GT at 7 dice.
If you are looking to do it with Rebels, the Lib is the ship to go with. Raymus, SA, QTC, LS is my go to build. With Leia supporting the Lib, I can pull a CF whenever I need to and roll 6 reds.
I've tried it with Sensor Teams. It's just not that good. You are better off taking 2 large attacks instead of 1 with a guaranteed Acc.
Don't forget veteran gunners. Great for fishing for crits - or getting rid of too many.
Leading Shots is also a crit fisher. Possibly paired with quad battery turrets.
I am a HUGE fan of the H9/QTC combo on my Liberty Battle Cruiser. For 1 point, QTC is superior to SA in EVERY WAY. SA gives you a extra red in the front and rear arcs. QTC gives you a extra red in EVERY arc. Even if you don't need the accuracy and want raw damage, the QTC gives you another red to reroll with Leading Shots.
Cymoon with Sensor Team, QTC, H9 commanding Jonus.
How do you do damage then is another question.

OR! You can use BOTH on a cinnamon or a Lib

If you have Jonus, can't you go with Gunnery Team instead?

NO! What would happen if you face a 4 defense token ship? You will need that accuracy!!

You lose damage with H9 if you have to use it. And if you don't use it, it's a dead card. I prefer to roll one naturally or on the reroll. Extra dice provides extra opportunities.

If I am after raw damage, I don't really lose anything with the H9. I turn the hit into an accuracy, get the extra red accuracy from QTC, and then reroll them with Leading Shots. Lots of flexibility there...

At long range a Lib can't make rerolls unless you have Sato.
It's not a bad build. I've done it. But SA is more likely to kill a flotilla at long so it combos well with GT. Drop 1 activation and hit another ship hard. I actually think XI7+H9 is better than both. Gives you options when you attack a ship with Redirect, but still allows you to kill flots at medium. Great against the 3 defense token ships. H9 the brace, make them take the damage cuz of XI7.
I'm very excited for the Cymoon because of Vader and QTC. It's my favorite turbolaser upgrade and I've never played Vader. Throw on Devastator and you got a lot of dice with defense token mitigation.

Yeah...I used to run Raymus+ET+SA+H9 on my Liberty, just so I could do a CF command on turn 2 to pop a flotilla from long range. It's really fun and addicting, but I found I was putting my Liberty in too much risk when I played that aggressively. So now, I am just down to the H9/QTC combo and I try to plan for a quality medium range shot on turn 3 instead. It has worked out much better for me in the long run and my Liberty has survived much longer as a result.

Hahaha yea my Libs always died a glorious death. I get fixated on lots of red dice. H9/QTC would be a good one to drop in with Raddus though. SA doesn't give much since you can deploy at close. Better off with high quality dice than higher quantity.

If you use Raddus, I think I would consider using the cheaper Star Cruiser variant with maybe SW-7 on it. That would make all the dice damage stick and you still have the flexibility to use the natural accuracy on the blues if you choose to.
