Has the post been edited? From what I see, the event info page only mentions a product 'set in' this universe, not necessarily an addition to Runebound. But I'd be thrilled to find out that you're right.

I do notice that the linked schedule lists two sneak peek events. So probably that means we'll see a couple new games.

Well, hopefully the original text was correct. A new Runebound game would mean

• Runebound is officially non-dead
• If it's a single game rather than a new wave of decks (or some new kind of expansion), that'll likely mean new characters. And that means there could also be a new upcoming Descent game, since they like to share heroes.
• Oh, and a new Runebound game!

Here's my hope that the RB expansion will be a dungeon crawl, even though that's what Descent is for.

Dungeon Crawling would be great!

Runwars is currently out and not 'upcoming'. Could they be talking about something else? I really do hope they're refering to something new for Runebound... I mean I hope it's for both Runebound and Desecent... I mean I hope it's something new for all three!

I think I like it better when new games and new add-ons just appear on their site. Instant joy and something to thoroughly explore... this waiting is driving me crazy.

There is a high chance that a Runebound expansion is in the works. Ed Browne a playtester for Battles of Westeros, and likely a playtester for this RB expansions from the sound of it, "confirmed" that there will be an announcement for a new RB expansion at the Realms of Terrinoth event, here .

OK, here's my new rumor: a full Runebound RPG is what may be in the works. Which wouldn't interest me at all, but it would take the Terrinoth setting in a new direction product-wise...

One will be for Runebound's new expansion, the other will likely be for an entirely new Terrinoth product. The original text for this event stated there would be a NEW game set in Terrinoth revaled. Obviously Runebound is not a new game.
