Anybody know if there's a larger community in the Seattle area? I've run into a couple of smaller groups that seem to be pretty store-specific, and while these guys have all been awesome, I'm kind of surprised to find the community here so seemingly splintered.

I'm asking around at FLGS's too, but figured I'd ask here too.

This looks like a perfect opportunity for a store vs. store CC challenge to me. ?

Kind of what I'm thinking. That or a league or something.

Gotta find the players first, though.

I only know of the group from Fire When Ready (Lynnwood) - though it's be nice to have a single place to find out when Store Championships, etc are. It would be pretty easy to drive the 3 hours down for the day...

There are the Sons of Ackbar in West Seattle. They play at Meeples game store. We had 6 people at the last store tournament.

I don't think I'd be capable of walking into a tournament there without shouting "HELLO, SQUIDLINGS!"

However :

Meeples and Around The Table are the only two places I've been able to identify that seem to really have an Armada scene... and they're on the same night of the week .
