I'd love to play a droid army so I can hear "Die, CIS scum!" more often.
But for now, I'll play both factions and eagerly await a mercurial fringe faction.

Of course FFG is gonna have to heavily expand the miniature options for the Rebels with non human troopers. I see they all ready got a Duros option. Now they need Wookie, Rodian, Zebrack, Twi'lek, Bothan, Nautolan, Amaran, Gungan, Togruta and Umbaran.
Yeah one of the cool things about the rebels is they could throw in variant sculpts for the troopers like an alien rebel trooper blister pack. Definitely want to see Bothans, female twi-lek is a must, sullustan, ishi tib, rodian. If they mirrored the alien customization options from the SW battlefront game i'd be cool with it. Unsure about a wookie for a normal trooper, they would have to be shorter than a normal wookie cause if this game has line of sight and such it could be weird.

It is not the height of a wookie that's the problem; but the action pose of the wookie.
Rebel blister expansion packs would be great, both human and non human. A Scarif battle blister could have some great options.

Totally agree with this... and for the wookies I believe it will be better if they came as a separate unit (something like wookie commandos) or a mixed races unit (like some kind of commando unit) where the size of the races in that unit was in line with the wookie size... maybe a heavy weapons unit with a wookie, a gigoran , a besalisk , and some other oversize alien :)___

More like heavy assault in general considering how dangerous they can be in close combat. However I think points wise such a unit would be expensive. Maybe just one individual wookie or gigoran could count as a unit.
