You are cordially invited to our second OCTGN tournament. Please respond to this thread (with your email included if I don't already have it from the last tournament) or email me at [email protected] if you would like to sign up to play.
There will be a slight change for this tournament to better accomodate schedules of both American and European players. For the most part, things went very smoothly during the last tournament, but inevtiably, scheduling conflicts will arise. I for one think it's pretty amazing to be playing our Spanish and Italian (for instance) friends across the pond, and my experiences in that regard were great. But for this tournament, we are running a joint effort, a kind of "World Cup" if you will, with a purely American tournament on one side, and a European on the other, run by Gualdo. So if you would like to email him at [email protected] to sign up for the European side of this tourney, please do so.
At the end of (most likely but subject to change) 4 rounds, we will cut to a top 8, either based on percentages of attendees for each side, or 4 from each tournament if they are roughly equal numbers. By splitting up the tournament in such a way, it should alleviate a lot of the scheduling conflicts that we saw from the last time.
Please respond to this thread or email me (or Gualdo if you are European) by Friday, the 19th of Feb.
Thanks,
Jonathan

) This way we can cut out the majority of scheduling conflicts.
