Reminds me of SNL where he just keeps writing all over the board x's and o's and lines. AND BOOM!

Frank Callendo on Mad TV did the best Madden.

You do you man. You're never going to please everyone, so you have to come by the best product you can make organically in your style. Keep doing it for yourself and that will be more enjoyable to everyone then trying to check boxes and pander.

I was watching some of the first few battle reports, which one are you? Waiqar or Daqan?

Oh right, it was MAD TV not SNL. I forgot those are two separate things, lol

I'm the waiqar player
Is there a video out there of Waiqar winning against Daqan?

If memory serves me right I have seen one maybe two videos of Waiqar winning, but I too have a problem beating the Daqan. The incomplete armies make it difficult. Daqan move and attack so quickly.
I'm looking into doing some battle reports. I've got a bunch of photos and notes, but I'd prefer to do video.
Problem is, I'm far from tech savvy. Do any of you have some resources you could point me towards, along the lines of equipment, software, lighting? That kind of thing.

Thanks by the way for posting this. I've referenced this video like 4-5 times to get my stuff for our video set up. It's in the works, expect it soon. I just ordered camera and stands and mics and everything last night.

The video I have in my quote just above this was posted by @Govrek This video helped me a lot on things I'll need, otherwise I also Youtube'd good equipment and found ThinkMediaTV to be extremely helpful. I also looked at a couple other youtuber's that also talk about tech, and it was very helpful.

Often times Daqan in our meta will sit back, stack inspiration for 2-3 turns, and then inch almost into range, and then cav rush while spearmen follow up.
As Waiqar I've been doing well positioning terrain and then positioning archers behind it, shooting around it and if they want to play the waiting game, I just pump out extra trays with Maro.

Thanks for the info, Curlycross! Not sure how I missed that video earlier. I've already started checking out that youtube channel as well. Good stuff

Yeah, like I said before (don't know if it was in this thread). @Wraithist and I are working on getting a youtube channel up dedicated to Rune Wars, news, releases, battle reports, etc. We're hoping to go to Worlds to film some stuff there as well. I've done a ton of research because while I'm not tech ignorant I'm not the most savvy so I've been checking all over for information needed for set ups. That ThinkMedia guy has been extremely helpful. I just purchased a Canon Vixia HF R600 and a wide angle lens. It was a recommendation on one of his videos and further research it's a pretty good camera, if you want to spend a little more money I'd go HFR800...
Edited by CurlycrossYou've got a future subscriber here! Looking forward to it.
I will also be doing videos in the future as well, just building my community first, have a demo night coming up so after that I will do a Video with my regular opponent.
