Also, re: the paintjob. Certainly, the final product will probably be better. I think the gray-colored raised area looks a bit flat in the mock-up.

It'd be the ratio of the dial size vs the base that would really tell, and...I sort of can't. It looks like the dials are larger on the MC75, meaning it'd be a "medium" base...but I can't be sure.

To me, the base seems too wide for its length to be a large, especially when compared to the ISD's base, but I can't be sure.

This. I'm slightly worried that the two MC80 models won't fit too well within the paint scheme and style I've gone for with my other rebels. This one will be much better in that regard, and I think the model looks gorgeous as it is too.

I'm going to take a totally unfounded leap and speculate with zero evidence: the MC75 will be speed 2. It just has that look.

FFG always has terrible paint jobs, so a phaser could be neat.

Not hating on the Pelta rather just pointing out that the speed 3 maneuver chart on the Neb-B has saved my nebs a lot. Pelta can't mimic it even with engine techs.

Oh, I agree - I'm a Neb player - often putting 5 down on the table, and I agree its a possibility to use, quite often the best move... And I do on occasion...

However,

I also find with the Pelta, its no where near as necessary, because its able to brace, redirect, and take more flat out damage before having to run away - so its kind of moot to me...

I think the MC75 model is very different from the movie. I don't like that. In a vacuum it is good but the movie Profundity is smoother with less bumps than the MC80s in the movies. No, I know people have said arg it doesn't look like a Mon cal ship. Here is the thing, admiral Raddus and his crew are from the polar regions of Mon cala. The Profundity was a government building as well as a ship if needed. Camoflage if you will, but I digress. Read the visual guild it's got great info on the Profundity. My point is I like the slight difference in design so show the polar Mon calamaris style compared to the tropical mon calamari. I would rather see a model closer to the movie.

I think the model looks pretty good compared to this picture. You are thinking it needs to be smoother? I think compared to the MC80s the model does look pretty smooth already.

Don't get me wrong, I think the model is well done and like it. I just think they tried to make the surface more like home one and the liberty with more bumps and bulges.
