I have probably read at the article post today about a half dozen times, but I keep getting distracted by the content and fly off to the forums to discuss something cool or retreat in the the theory crafting of my mind to imagine what unstopable fleet I might put together when I get these in my hands. But I finally returned and read every single word of the article from beginning to the end, and then I saw these words.

"Look for the new ships, squadrons, commanders, and other upgrades from Armada Wave VII (SWM29, SWM30) to arrive at retailers everywhere in the fourth quarter of 2017!"

Is it just me or is FFG being pretty definitive on when they think this will come out?

They're doing to do what they can for a Christmas release, but its all about "On the Boat" soon.

90% of the time, you get a statement like the above.

Now, the Good news is, that Q4 is Christmas, and they can and will do everything in their power to enforce a Christmas Release. Moreso than any other release date.

Unfortunately, those powers are fairly limited to yelling at their supply chain and waving contracts near shredders/lighters. It definitely didn't help the original ISD.

This is true. What's also true is FFG didn't acknowledge the delay for a full quarter then threw a tournament at us to sate our anger. (Which worked decently all things considered)

wave 5 was the same thing, and we got it on december 21th... pretty late Q4 if you ask me!

Any day before Jan 1 is Q4, so it counted

The point was to warn him that Q4 usually means very late Q4

Late December again, just like last year.
