OH SNAP The ISD-K is a Fire Control Team Platform

Expanded Launchers is complete overkill IMO. Enemy ships will already be avoiding your front arc like the plague.

Maybe so, but that's what Jerry is there for? Ever tried to avoid the front arc of an ISD under the command of a skilled navigator? With Jerry, it's impossible to avoid, and very possible to line up multiple of those shots

Cymoon is a good at long range too. At 121 (spinal) is switching 2 blue by 2 reds. Vader to reroll and CF means 7 red dices. IO and Devastator to spice it a little more.

This is a tasty build... I'm thinking maybe one of these with Vader aboard to back up my ISDK FCT hunter-killer...

I'm not opposed to the idea of Expanded Launchers on the Kuat Refit but I feel it really needs some method of messing with defense tokens to make it get through against brace tokens and the like compared to a black crit upgrade. Without a turbolaser slot for H9s or the like, you're largely hoping for accuracy results on your blue and red dice (perhaps with a Leading Shots reroll?), relying on Jonus, or bringing along an Intel Officer. Those aren't bad ideas, but they add more expense to the Kuat ISD.

Yeah, that appears to be the real trick to me. If you can get that anti-brace accuracy, ER/EL can actually offer better results than XI7. However, that's a mighty IF.

It would be so silly and so fun. Throw Kallus on and you might be able to flechette aces at medium LOL

Ordnance, Ion, and Weapons Team slot all on the same ship!

Do you think this ship could make FCT not suck?

A bit late, but to that i say odds you roll 1 and let screed take care of the other!

I agree

Issue here is you're nuking three different shield faces. Only things that helps against are AP and Foresight.

Semi Necro here, sorry

ACM and Heavy Ion Emplacements, you get to choose which happens first right? I.E. if HIE kills their shields you can choose to have ACM hit second, therefore dealing those two damage to the ship right?

Yes. Same time, choose order.

Kinda nuts that a thread about a ship that was released less then a week ago is a “semi necro”

Well the thread itself is from the announcement of the wave

Whoosh, Vis. Whoosh.

Well, the lack of reroll makes Vader/Screed a must. (too bad I'd vote for JJ) But... not unimaginable, how about this:
