My take on the Sith Infiltrator

By RufusDaMan, in X-Wing

Large ship decloak: Use large ship barrel roll for sideways, the straight 1 for forward

What do you think?

Needs Darth Maul as a pilot.

Missing firing arc info. Assuming it's a standard arc, which is a humongous downside for a large base ship, I'd throw in one of the following bonuses:

-Add the ability to discard cloak token before revealing maneuver (without the free decloak relocation) to the title

-make the ship auto-cloak at the beginning of the end phase (possibly obligatory)

This is awesome.Feels like a ship that can cloak with that much HP might be sorta broken though. But it is sweet either way!

Seen Maul listed as scum regularly.

Why wouldnt he be Imperial? Not familiar with the lore on that.

Like the ship and abilities alot!

Also badly needs a Dark Wing duck pilot card and repaint.

He had a criminal empire sort of in Clone Wars, (that's how he got his big *** mandalorian ship, the Gauntlet). Basically, he went rogue and did his own thing, (mostly wanting to kill Kenobi) using criminals to further his goals. He isn't really scum, but that faction has so many things crammed in it, and he has some connections.
Also, he was never really working for the Empire, he worked for Sidious before he became The Emperor.

It is standard arc, you can see on the little icon.

Autocloak on a native PS 9 is a bit too much I feel, and it is also the mechanic of the Phantom. It would make the ship grossly overpowered.

About the arc, well yeah... But the ship turns easily, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem. Vader with EU could do a double reposition with a good dial. That should be enough for the arc problems.

Oh yeah, forgot they do that.

Which is why I suggested for the cloak to happen after the combat phase ;). Though I have to say, I'm curious how an arc-bound large ship with double reposition and no stress would fare.

Maul never flew the ship as anything other than Palpatine's apprentice. Definitely should not be Scum.

Have you read the Lando comic? You're missing pilot and crew cards for the droid O-66 and bounty hunter Chanath Cha.

Not sure Vader or Palp should be pilots for this. I like the idea of Vader flying it, but I don't know if he ever did in any of the existing source material. (Legends or Canon.) I don't think Palp ever flies anything himself.

He flies it in the new comics when he gets his lightsaber.

Are the lando comics any good?

The new comic looked like a different ship. I'll have to follow up on that next time I'm at my LCS.

Lando is excellent. It reads like an action movie; heist gone wrong.

The Lando comics are some of Marvel's best when it comes to the current Star Wars line.

It's nice but what's the ship purpose? Cant do any dmg because only 2 dice primary with torp and bomb. No reload, no turret or canon. Only 1 crew slot so not really a support ship. You talk about cloaking but its not on the action bar?

From the official description the ship has a sophisticated cloaking device made from kyber crystal, mines/bomb, sensors and canons. You are close :-) This ship is my personal most wanted now that the Gunboat is Inc. I really hope Darth Maul crew will be good/interesting.

Edit:

I did not see that you had other pictures. Title: IMO the cloak should be on the action bar for all pilots and the primary should be 3 from the start. What good would be the generic with no cloak and 2 dice atck? Palp: i would love it but never going to happen. Scum Maul: no, just no. Imperials desperately need the few unique pilots/crew it can get.

It looks a bit different but it is referred to as the same craft (also I didn't really like the art in that book at all). It does have a turret in the comics tho...

I'd say you need to increase the attack up to 3 and/or give it a cannon upgrade slot

not sure on the Palp pilot but if you increase the crew upgrades to 2 slots then we have another Palp mobile lol

also would be a good expansion to release a system upgrade that helped the cloak more for this and the phantom...

Interesting, I imagine a wave with the Sith infiltrator with this pilots and a Jedi Starfighter with Jedi pilots (And/or Wedge, which takes one in Rebel Strike games)

Please. No more 2 ATT ships for Imperial.

Pilots and passengers for the Sith Infiltrator / Scimitar I could see are Chanath Cha, O-66, and Darth Maul. However, because during the GCW Maul was an enemy of the Empire, maybe also have him as a Scum pilot for it.

Emperor as a pilot? I don't like that much.

He owned the ship at some point. He would as much of a pilot as Kylo is on the Upsilon (read, he is not really the pilot)

Some of the recent Battlefront II space battle videos show it in action and it looks pretty mean. I think it's the first canon? depiction of it in combat in a fluid form.

Attack 3 wouldn't be unwarranted I think.

Yeah, the ship is in Battlefront 2, I think it's chances of appearing in the Miniatures game have just increased significantly.
