Seeing the upcoming Chimaera Expansion reminded me of this Simpsons scene. Which one are you regarding the Chimaera expanssion and the ISD expansion, Lisa or Smithers?
Chimaera Expansion: which one are you?
I was Lisa for five minutes. Then I read the article and now I am Smithers.
As I read the article they implied that it was more than just a new paint job, but I don't think that is true. (model wise). But I love what it is bringing to the game. I usually don't bring ISD I's not because of their short range but because they can't get ECM's. The Kuat is basically an ISD I that can. I also really like the Cymoon (?) it is basically a better turbo laser deliverer for cheaper (it does have few squadrons).
To tell the truth, I just love Star Destroyers, if there ever comes a time in this game where you have to play the new EU ships to be competitive and Star Destroyers get forgotten (sort of like what has happened with the X-wing in X-wing) I will probably lose interest pretty fast. So if we fast forward this game five more years and we have a small handful of Star Destroyers I will be Happy. I am not saying you have to take Star Destroyers for something to feel like an Imperial Fleet, I at least want to be able to. This expansions helps with that.
My concern is the cost. It has to be as much as a Star Destroyer since it is one, but it will also come with two squadrons. I hope it doesn't cost more than a Star Destroyer? $$$
