Is 28 the something BIG that they teased at Gencon? Personally, I don't think 2 ships in wave 7 counts as the big they were teasing. (even if it is Thrawn)

Yeah, as big as this wave is something leaves me wondering if there isn't something more coming.
With X-Wing they released their epic ships in between waves.

Next Friday is Force Friday, so my suspicion is they get wave 7 out this week then if there is something "bigger" to drop then they get a couple of weeks of "the new factor"
Can't remember what FFG dropped on Force Friday last year, if anything.

IIRC they didn't, at least not for Armada. I believe they appended the U-wing and TIE Striker to the Wave that had just been announced, but I don't play that game so check that before you quote me.

In a week, one of us will be right. I also note the language in the teaser (to me) sounds like an entire new game/line. My suspicions are Legion and an enormous spread of expansions, including such classics at the AT-AT, AT-ST, and God only knows for the Alliance.

The rumor is that they are releasing the game on that day seeing how some store owners needed to buy a case of something Star Wars that is $30 a piece. No idea if that is MSRP $30 or just the per unit cost for the items in the case. It could always be a standalone game like Empire vs Rebellion or a new card game or (I wish) a large scale miniatures game like a epic scale vehicle focused ground game. All we know is that it is supposedly a new product.
If we get SWM28 before SWM20 I will riot.

fingers crossed they do, I can't believe that Gauntlets wouldn't get put into a separate fighter pack along with some of the other missing x wing fighters at some point.
