This is bonkers. It'll lead to paralysis when you have competing Thrawns against each other. Even in the normal game, having near-perfect knowledge when planning moves is super strong, and you'd let players do it three times?

No I was going with the theme that was laid down by the armada Thrawn. I think it should actually be like Kallus where you pick one ship and that ship has to place theirr dial face up until Thrawn is destroyed.

If he comes with a silly paintjob I do not need to see him in this game.

That's still ridiculously overpowered. Armada Thrawn gets to set three dials in secret, and deploy them at a given time. He doesn't operate with perfect knowledge of how his opponents have set their own dials.

Allowing the lowliest Academy Pilot to change their dial and execute barrel rolls with perfect knowledge of where their opponent will be is just too powerful. There's a reason why you cannot change your dial after using an Intel Agent, or why pilots with the ability to change their dial in activation are typically limited in what they can do with it (Hera, Stay On Target). Information is everything in this game, and being able to receive perfect information without penalty is bad for the game.

Who cares about Admiral Thrawn for X Wing...?

I WANT ADMIRAL RADDUS! (And Ackbar too...)
