I think there might be some surprises in the MC75 expansion. The photo is quite basic at the mo.

The 'something big' might still be coming. Epic ships in XW were released between official waves. The SSD might still be coming.

It certainly looks like it. I am assuming the text will be something like:

"At the start of the ship phase, you may discard this card or spend a concentrate fire token. Until the end of the round, when a friendly ship makes an attack against an enemy ship from its frontal arc, it may add one die of any colour to the attack pool"

Kuat Refit + Opening Salvo + Devastator + External Racks + Concentrate Fire = 17 dice with a max of 28 damage. I believe that is a new high (however unlikely).

Or it might be a boost to your AS salvos. The line comes before a fighter hits the bridge afterall.
