I find the wording to this card confusing. When contesting a province with an air ring, the ring gains void as well. If I win the conflict I get to use the ring abilities of all 5 of the rings. Is that correct?

No, you get to resolve Air and Void.

And if you're very lucky, and have the Seeker of Knowledge in play, Air, Void and whatever ring it started as.

You get to use all of the abilities of the ring for the conflict. So if you pick Ring of Fire, and she adds Ring of Void, and you win the conflict then you would get both effects of Ring of Fire and Ring of Void. This can be even better if you add Seeker of Knowledge who also adds ring of Air to the conflict so you could get 3 abilities.

The wording...

"each of that ring's effects"

not

"each of the ring effects"

Thanks.

This makes me think we are seeing the groundwork being laid for the enlightenment victory.

Something to the effect of "If you resolve all 5 ring effects after winning a conflict." Not sure if FFG makes it a flat out win or maybe it translates into a really big honor gain? But, it really seems to me this is where the "add X ring effect" cards are leading.

I like it - but I think it could only happen if there were more opportunities for the other clans to join in. What could happen though is a Phoenix attachment or character with "Reaction: When you activate a ring's effect, gain 1 honor. (unlimited uses)"

It could take the existing honor victory mechanic and allow an enlightened approach without encroaching on the other clan's access to victory.
