So a local club is going to be playing epic for the first time, and 6 people (including me) intend to be available to play. The plan is to form teams on the day of the event, after lists have already been made and brought.
150 points, Op spec limited to 3 uses per turn per opspec, epic ships not mandatory. (though I know someone was talking about a 150 point raider build, and another was talking about trying out the C-Roc) I am apparently one of the people who is more experienced at epic, having played it at a con before, and the organizer is the other, so we will explicitly be on different teams. (the organizer wants to try out the C-Roc)
I'm considering a Blade Wing Prototype build- that is, Opportunist HLC Keyan and Opportunist HLC Ibstan, backed up by a rebel transport with Toryn Farr.
Against small ships within range 2 of the transport, or huge ships at any range, the Bwings are rolling 5 die attacks with built in modifiers granted by the stress opportunist generates. I also build in a good deal of survivability, since Bwings arnt the best at defending against turbolasers.
