Another thing I'm trying to avoid thinking about, is a campaign expansion thingy like the Cornelia Conflict for armada, but for x-wing.

Was it $30 product retail, or was it $30 to the store? If the latter, that would mean it's a $50/$60 retail product which may make sense for a 'big' Armada release.

If it was a big Armada release, they would have announced it. The timing suggests some kind of Destiny product to go with the EaW release.

So this should be the rumored 30$ product that was floating around the web. Some think it might be a reskin of Warhammer Quest TACG. Doubt it has anything to do with Legion.

As much as I love Armada, FFG would not be doing as big of a release for new Armada stuff.

At least if it is something Destiny related then I don't need to spend $30 I suppose.

Force Friday is specifically themed as a product launch for Last Jedi merch. My guess it has to be related to that since anything else could've been shown at GenCon. Follows suit too since we got the new TFA core two years ago and last year was the release of the TIE Striker and U-Wing.

FLGS told me 6 secret whatevers to a case. So either the case is small or the whatever is pretty big.

If you read the article the implication is that it is not connected to any existing game.

They say new product. Then in the second paragraph, first line, they define what they mean by product ....X wing, Destiny. Product is the game not a wave release. So roll on next week :-)

The ARG is an unrelated thing that Disney is doing that they are participating in. It's like pokémon go, but with sw characters and you have to go to certain stores to find them.

But they are releasing a new product for force frit and announcing it on the same day.

You know, it's probably a cup with Star Wars imagery on the side that can be used to roll your dice (like Yahtzee). It could be used across ALL FFG SW games that have a dice mechanic.

Whatever it is, I hope it actually is worth the build up.
