I participated in my first store tourney on Sunday. Took second, but the winner already had his bye after winning 3 store tourneys so I got the rolldown (at least thats what we call it in bike racing/triathlon). Im hopeful to participate in regionals, but can't find any info yet on regionals, let alone the ones near to me in Ohio.

Any thoughts?

Regionals Season doesn't start until November.

Places are likely to be announced in October.

That's the same timeframe as last year,

So no-one knows anything yet.

In short, places for Regionals are vetted by FFG (in the States) and by Exclusive Distributors (everywhere else). So the process is always longer and results in a a much more restricted competition.

Unlike Store Championships, which any store in good standing can hold.

The good news is that the Midwest tends to have a lot of FFG events, so even if one isn't in your immediate area or even your state there should be one no more that a few hours away by car or bus.

Eh, its only been twice so far.

Its not like the Attack Procedure Flowchart, which I have, quite literally, typed out 58 times from memory in the Rules Questions Sub-Forum.

When you type at 70 WPM (I'm down from 90), its not exactly hard to type it out.

honestly, I find it hard to explain it in actual vocal words than to type it.

Thanks for the info. I was worried about my busy September getting a tournament. October is a lot better.

Well, season doesn't actually start until November, but dates and locations are likely to start to be announced mid-late october.
