But I'd love an Aces set that had Star Wars in the classic yellow moving into the distance in a starfield; with a classic Rebel T-65 (blue Rouge scheme) and a classic Imperial TIE with new pilots, titles, mods just for those ships that launch them to the top of the meta!

Now that would sell like gangbusters and bring lots of new players and bring back some who've left to Armada or other games.

I'm just saying....with a glass of Cabernet ?

So I heard from some flgs's that there's some X-wing related product set to release on September 1st (coincidentally Force Friday). Priced at $29.99. Thoughts on what it might be?

That would make sense. It was listed as on the boat on the 8th, so it could definitely have made it to the warehouse for shipping.

If it was "on" the boat on the eighth, then it won't be here till October/November. Or so it seems based on waiting periods from things getting on the boat to actually hitting shelves.

Maybe because Disney put it's big ugly clawed hands on it, and will be included in Rebels (or whatever comes after?)

Zann is a character coming into significance after Jabba's death, so we can wait. Or maybe he comes in the Epic and they didn't want to include it beforehand.

Missing number could actually be a New Order Epic ship. With Phasma crew which is essentially Imperial mindlink, Mindprobe driod crew which allows you to use the action bar of any other friendly ship in your fleet, a KX Series Security Droid which allows you to re-roll attack dice when attacking in arc and then a general "TIE ONLY TITLE" which is 0 points and adds the EPT upgrade slot to your upgrade bar if you do not already have one.

Or maybe they can't say anything because it's a F/O Firespray and both FFG and Disney know that dropping a truth bomb like that so far in advance of the film would overshadow anything their other IP's put out and they just don't want that kind of hit. Plus Boba Fett has a new ability which is essentially everyones' ability in the game that has ever been released, all at once and it's that extreme because that is how bad the Imperial Firespray is.

My bets:

- Totally obscure and hideously looking Scum ship, with "fun new tricks and unique mechanics", pushing older ships further into obsolescence,

- Another 2 Agi TIE variant, because Empire is in dire need of those,

- Something that needs to fly in formation with Biggs to stay on the table, but when it does, works better than previous wing-men.

Oh, and Conditions, at least 3 new Conditions.

Well there could be a 3rd ship from the movie, either another from Resistance or 1st Order or a new scum ship with the tech upgrade.

$29.99 Epic Resistance Bomber; discounted for how comedic it looks? With, of course, a bunch of nameless crew so as to avoid spoilers, and a General Leia just to convince us they really do have some connection to Star Wars.

While not my favorite choice, it would fit. Plus you have the new character Rose Tico, a Resistance Maintainance worker, and her sister Paige who is a gunner for Cobalt Squadron. There is suppose to be a book coming out tying into those characters, so maybe some other name drops from there.

Fingers crossed for a Scarif set. Blue Squad X-Wing and Y-Wing repaint, plus goodies for the U-Wing.
