my FLGS owner was quite pissed that he had to order this blind and order quite a bit to get it shipped for no cost. Destiny is pretty much dead in this area. On the bright side, they may do a random drawing for one of these sets during the X-wing Tournament tomorrow. I would totally take one of these for free.

I've been a ffg fan for along time and I gotta say their constant seeming bouncing from product to product with inconsistent level of support is really starting to wear on me. Since GenCon a lot of other games and companies have been getting my attention.

Soooo...them announcing wave 12 meant nothing? Guns For Hire coming out soon isn't good enough? Just because we haven't gotten anything yet (or even if we get no new announcements this Force Friday), doesn't mean that X-Wing is neglected.

We literally got a massive announcement less than two weeks ago and average one front page article a week on the website. Let other games have a turn to shine.
We got used to the cycle... so it is only natural to be disappointed when NOTHING that was predicted happens!!!

Disappointment is reasonable and understandable, declaring that FFG hates their top selling game and it's players is both overdramatic and stupid.

And if it does turn out that absolutely nothing for X-wing is announced this Force Friday (which is apparently the whole weekend, and I think it might be a chance they are holding off for Monday which is the usual X-Wing news day and what they did when they announced Legion), I will be a little disappointed. But not directly at FFG for not keeping to an unpromised pattern, but in an "aw shucks" kind of way.

This is the poster from Toys-r-us FF event last night, not sure if its been posted in last 17 pages but there is a FO TIE Bomber in that pic, I really hope thats a new X-Wing ship sooner than later.

lol, I saw where a store owner was disappointed with what it wound up being and is now selling them for $19.99 over the weekend, and a purchase of one of them entitles you to 25% off any FFG product in the store. It's the Force Friday Fail Flash Sale; "$10 off gets you 25% off."
I am actually considering getting one now and just treating it like a self-contained game (if I was a whale who wanted to blow hundreds on booster boxes every couple months, I'd go back to MtG).

I, for one, am on the ''bummed'' bandwagon. I do not play Destiny (The game just looks targeted to a younger age group, though I mean that in no way to be derogatory towards its players of any age, it just hasn't appealed to me in a manner in which I feel a desire to play it.) and I was quite hoping for something even as small as a single (New) small expansion, perhaps the new interceptor or even a Rogue One t-65 with the much anticipated title card for the ship that started it all. The ''Force Friday'' weekend is still ongoing though so, fingers crossed... Either way I feel sorry for the local game stores in my area and others who didn't receive their Force Friday products until the end of the business day while Target was somehow able to sell them at midnight last night. A little strange considering FFGs recent efforts to strengthen the ability for small brick and mortar game stores to make a profit with their product by limiting Amazons ability to price gouge.

Our Walmart was lame for Force Friday. I found a half-empty shelf of old Star Wars merchandise with a sign still hanging up that said not to display TLJ stuff until 9/1/17. That was at 10:30 AM this morning - 9/11/17.

That won't matter. They've published on Saturdays and Public Holidays in the past. Its just not a guarantee .

Yeah publishing an article is minimal work and/or easy to set on a timer.
I would have loved to get some XWM love for FF, but I would rather get info more frequently. I think that if all this ire spurs an outcome, it will be FFG withholding info UNTIL Force Friday.
If they had gone silent for months then dropped the starwing wave + S&V aces previews today, folks would be wetting themselves with glee.
Don't train FFG to hold back!
People are reading a lot into FFG not posting an article today considering it is not their call when to do that.
