Also, some of the promo material for the new film suggests that the first order is a 'mobile state', so it is possible that much of the first order's core elements are not planet bound. That megaship might not just be a warship, it may well also be the first order Capitol.

Yup. Other previews from the app:

make it clear that it's a shipyard, not just a ship.

Oh, I found it:

Oh, it's just another speeder... :/ EDIT: Police speeder. :P

And, see how heavily armed the TIE Silencer looks. 4 attack or 3 attack + cannon?

Edited by Odanan

3 attack with bullseye and a title for an extra die in the bullseye.

I *really* like the new A Wing. It's just sleeker and sharper and meaner than the old one.

Jesus that mega class has one juicey wingspan

But also one dumbass ship design

Def don't want that going through an asteroid field

Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral.

I wonder how FFG is gonna sell us a second A-wing with that paint sheme now that they already made the Mc Quarrie prototype :P

OK, so the new Resistance speeder is essentially a cross between a B-Wing and a pod racer then?

looks like it.

And as with the B Wing, raises questions about its really, REALLY weird driving position. Avoiding crashing into the ship on your right will be tricky...

At least the B Wing can rotate to a vertical position.

Looks more like a H60 Tempest to me.
But yeah, I think Disney's so afraid to do anything that could be judged "not SW-sy enough" by fans that they will use every Mc Quarrie's designs in the new trilogy instead of trying something new and ballsy.

My only expectation for Force Friday was to have a new article in the afternoon about some missing SKUs with enough juicy tidbits to scrap my friday productivity. I think that's a reasonnable expectation... don't let me down FFG, you're my only Friday afternoon hope.

The Supremacy looks more like a small ship blown up to a huge ship for no good reason.

It needs the large wingspan for atmospheric flight. :D

Yeah! Like the Yuuzhan Vong!

W ith the latest abomination (and two previous ones, notAT-AT and the pizza-class) we are already in the WH40k territory, so Vongs would fit perfectly well.

It's different enough for my liking!

And unless the guns are really heavy its centre of mass is going to be off - causing all sorts of problems keeping it straight and not spinning. Again at least with the B-Wing the engines were closer to the cockpit end.

Do these people not understand basic mechanics/physics?

together with the new b-wing in a resistance ace expansion :P well at least there is a chance now that the old a and b-wing will be made competitive again with new titles.

also, this caught my attention:

The Resistance Bomber is nothing like the B-Wing.

But yeah, if it is an epic (instead of a large ship), the Resistance A-wing would come along well with this one...

Not to mention aiming with those guns... terrible, terrible design.

We are expecting an article today, right?
