Scum Only in Rebel ship pack?
It's Maul.
And the Scum Only part is way to the left side, so there's text after that. I assume it's text that makes it so you can use him in a Rebel list if Ezra is in it too.
Also says Ezra only, and has an ability that triggers while stressed.
Say hello to the Stressbug! Put R3-A2 on Ezra then Maul, Hera, or Gunner crew.

Anyone worked out Maul's ability yet?

We don't know for sure that it says Ezra only, its just an educated guess. Likely, but not certain yet.
Scum only. Make sure to turn
Your sound on.
When attacking, if you are
stressed. Enable some
number of smooth vibes.
reroll that old time rock and roll
After chilling back out, go figure
that hats and sunglasses are a must.
1 of these days people will reembrace
Rock.
Why is there a card of a Dark Side user than can be used by any faction that's not Empire?

Because Maul isn't imperial in the sources they're pulling him from (Namely Rebels)

There are plenty of Dark Side users (such as Ventress, the Dathomirian Night Witches, and rival Sith to Palp) that wouldn't work in th Empire. I would even say Episode 1 Maul being Empire is debatable, but his appearances afterward in the Clone Wars and Rebels mark him very much Scum and very much against the Empire.

Hmm. This is going to make me revisit my AlliedMerc format. Unless it also says Rebels only so A&M will be needing a revision.
I'm guessing it says "scum only rebel only"

Why wouldn't it say "Scum or Rebel only" just like Pulse Ray shield?

Yeah, being taken prisoner and given electroshock therapy by Papa Palpatine would have that effect.

Heck, even before then, Maul was out for Palp's blood.
Watch Ezra be "eh" but Maul to wreck face on Scum ships.

But that's how all the Sith are... Killing your predecessor.
The point is Maul should never be Rebel Only, regardless of his Scum affiliation. They're trolling us, now.. No other explanation.

The next 2 letters are 'R' and 'e'.

Maul is simply Sith.. the Galactic Empire is only a twinkle in Darth Sidious' eye in Ep 1... After being cut in half and "left" for dead, Maul's not entirely Empire or even Sith friendly anymore..

The simple explanation is that he Scum only, unless you have Ezra in your squad.

It looks like a zuckuss effect - its when attacking, so if you're chosing any number of dice, they're your opponent's - or it'd just say reroll any number of dice.
Then there's some sort of if you hit trigger - which might be good (get rid of a stress token), really good (assign said token to your enemy) or bad (lose some other token or upgrade) depending on how expensive maul is.
Given that scum can use him freely, there could be quite a backlash if he's essentially zuckuss but better!
Blowing up the picture, the second line is still in italics, and the first two words in the second line are "Your Squad".
I can make out:
"Scum Only. <indecipherable>
Your Squad <indecipherable>"
So we still haven't gotten past the restrictions on that second line.

Maul was never Empire. In fact, after Obi-Wan, his biggest enemy is the Empire.

Maul technically never was. But Darth Maul was the student of the Emperor, so I think we all know why many react confused at first

True, but where as Vader had plans to kill Palp, he was still a part of the Empire. Maul created his own Shadow Collective in order to take on his master who abandoned him. In Rebels, he worked directly with the main cast against the Empire. Admittedly, he did betray them for his own purposes in the end, but that's still leaps and bounds more than he ever did for the Empire. This is why you have people thinking he is Ezra only and thinking that it fits.
FFG isn't trolling us. They are following canon in this case.
