"Flight Control" seems most likely.
I wonder if the condition could be "don't have an enemy ship in your firing arc"?
Star Wars Galaxies had flight computers. They weren't true astromechs but performed many of the same functions. Given how much FFG borrows from SWG, "Flight Computer" would be my guess.
Edited by weisguy119If it's 1 point, I'm buying 4 of them

Except Flight Computer Astromech wouldn't make any sense at all.

just proxy extras for casual. if you have one as reference and its a fix, then someone needs to be a huge jerk to complain about it. particularly when everyone uses squad builders. honestly even for tournaments its absurd buying 5 starvipers for auto thrusters etc.

Well the StarViper did come with 2 Autothrusters each, so I don't think there's any 100 point tournament lists that you can capably run more than 5, let alone 9 or more. While 3 or 4 may be required for some lists, nowadays I don't think more than 2 Autothrusters are generally needed for most lists. My tri-Imp-small-ship list doesn't use any Autothrusters in it.

it was a random example. my point is spending 15 or 20 bucks for a single upgrade you need is dumb. if you have a reference card just proxy the rest

Why not? It's pretty much what they do when socketed into a starrfighter.

Or that, yep...
... pretty sure it couldn't be longer than 6-ish characters and still fit.

In SWG, Flight Computers were used when a ship was incapable of using an Astromech droid.
Having a Flight Computer Astromech would be like having a CatDog. Sure, they are both pets, but they are different animals and should never be mixed, lest science has gone too far.
PS: Don't ever call an Astromech droid a Flight Computer

Meh. It didn't matter to me whether my SWG ship had an astro or a fight comp as long as I could issue the commands I needed in battle.

Because a flight computer is what you use hwen you don't HAVE an astromech.
