Well, maybe yes, maybe no. Can we get the 3rd starter set, anyone?

Just now, admat said:

True! That's another possibility, and I just realized product code 67 is also missing.

Looks like 71 could be a starter/other box, and 67&68 are the single ships in it

I agree that it's unclear as to what happens when you have multiple jam tokens and gain e.g. a focus tho rai seems clear to me that you lose the focus and one jam. But that doesn't imply anything to the effect of removing tokens any other time.

Rebel Veterans? Campaign box?

2 hours ago, InterceptorMad said:

We/I assume it's one of the Last Jedi ships.

Could be 2 in one box. Maybe the TIE Silencer and Resistance A-Wing as one $30 set.

Resistance A-Wing

I know it gets repeated again and again, and I love Awings as it is my favorite ship, but...

Wasn't the 'resistance A-wing' debunked as we've seen an old version on the set?

Han Solo flies a modern one in Bloodline, so it exists. But I was under the impression that we have no reason yet to believe Ep8 shows us a new one. There's only hope

"New" A-wing looks almost identical to the old one. That's what you get for making a movie for nostalgia-driven "fans" for whom Star Wars is just the Original Trilogy. "New" X-wings, "new" A-wings, "new" TIE Fighters and "new" AT-ATs.

No someone posted before a pic of some form of merch/book image of the A-Wing and despite being very close, it is a new ship. Whether or not we'll get a whole new ship or a title for the ones we have (it's TIE/SF speculation all over again) is yet to be seen.

Maul crew card is Scum only ... unless there's an odd ability, it can't be used on the ship it comes with!

This is how dreams die. With a reference card. Here's to hoping they change it for the non-epic.

Why would they? It isn't broken now?

It's Scum Only, and Ezra Only. Might be a bit more too it as well.

Unless its strawberry

No, not strawberry. Raspberry. It has to be raspberry.

Which reminds me. I need to find acrylic raspberry tokens to use as my Jam tokens.

Based on pictures I have seen around, the "modern" A-Wing is largely the same, though it doesn't have the "hump" behind the cockpit. It also looks thinner and more elongated (though not necessarily longer) than original A-Wings.

Edit: Images for consideration.

Yeah, it clearly says "Ezra" next to "Scum Only," which is thematic and awesome.

Also the weapons on the Last Jedi A-Wings are different than the RotJ version. They're the same as the Ralph McQuarrie art A-Wing and the ones seen in Star Wars Rebels flown by Hera, Sabine and the rest of Phoenix Squadron.

Awesome, I hadn't seen the second one

Which has me hoping that it'll have a three dice primary.

I see it, but...has that ever been a thing that's happened? An upgrade card in a ship pack which that ship can't use? That'd be some pretty egregious "Gotta buy 'em all" by FFG, wouldn't it?

I can't wait to see what Maul does. Ezra's ability is something I've been trying to get to work for a longggg time.

The 'scum only' part is way to the left side of the card, so there's text after it that I assume makes him useable in a Rebel list in some way.

That's what I figured, thanks!

That's the assumption anyway.

We can't actually clearly see "Ezra" next to scum only. We're extrapolating that's what it'll be. It makes sense based on the show, and is the most likely scenario, but it'd also be the first time an upgrade is limited to a single pilot as opposed to a ship. There's also further text in the restrictions line(s, since it goes to a second line), so who knows what that is.

If you think the bullseye arc kills aces, you obviously have no understanding of this game beyond the most basic rules. The meaning of being an ace is that you never get caught in arc anyways. Now people are saying aces are dead because an even SMALLER arc which can punish them exists? Are you kidding me?

If you are flying Vader, soontir, Fenn, or even Fels Wrath and you get caught in that sliver arc, you deserve to lose the game on the spot. End of story.

I just want moar A-Wings

The top Pilot is a PS8, which means they'll be running VI and moving at PS10, which means they move after the soontirs and fenns. Vader runs VI often enough to actually be ablet o dodge arc.

if he's b-rolling to get you in arc, you're denying his mods too

though then we have to account for how difficult it is going to get that narrow as **** arc on the enemy even with b-roll

esp given dial limitations
