Just wondering if Minor Clans have been mentioned, well... at all? Do we know if they exist?

I believe the only real indication we have is the mention of Yoritomo in the fiction "Her Father's Daughter."

Right, but "Yoritomo the pirate" was mentioned, but no mention at all of "the Mantis clan," which is a large part of the reason I ask.

I doubt Hotaru would find any MC's worth mentioning in any case.

I'm sure they're around, just aren't being mentioned by name. Pretty sure they've been referring to the game clans as "great clans" still, which would be redundant if there weren't some sort of contrast against lesser clans. Even the ratlings were just referred to as "them" instead of their name, and they actually feature in the fiction.
