Yes, the Kimogila sounds better on paper. But it's not actually better if costs an appropriate amount more.

I feel pretty confident they've got some home-baked version of Linux. It's way better than anything on the market, but only if it's constantly monitored and adjusted by someone who knows what they're doing.
