I've been playing around with a list that centers around Norra and Wullffwarro:
Norra Wexley/ARC-170 (41): Push the Limit, Kyle Katarn, BB-8, Engine Upgrade, Alliance Overhaul
Wullffwarro/Auzituck Gunship (41): Expertise, Breach Specialist, C-3PO, Hull Upgrade
So far, I've flown naked Rex as the 3rd ship but I found him to be basically useless. At best he gets a single of round of Suppressive Fire and then is gone.
Originally, I had a 45 point version of Wullffwarro but I recently made a tweak to him that I like more and, as a bonus, saved me 4 points. So that leaves up to 18 points for a 3rd ship now and I just know I can do better than Rex. A couple ideas I am considering:
- Sabine Wren/Tie Fighter (18): Juke, Captured Tie - Seems like she'll have better survivability with her free BR/Boost, motivation to use her Evade action for Juke, and Captured Tie protection.
- Prototype Pilot/A-Wing (18): Chardaan Refit, Stealth Device - Decent survivability, but to what end? Not going to do much damage.
- Rebel Operative/HWK-290 (18): Autoblaster Turret - Might be a decent wingman to protect Wullffwarro's tail since he has difficulty turning around.
- Tala Squadron Pilot/Z-95 Headhunter (18): Homing Missiles, Guidance Chips - I like Homing Missiles because you don't have to use your TL so you can use it to modify the roll.
Any thoughts on these options and any other suggestions are much appreciated.
