Fun with Intensity

So I had this idea and wanted to see what the consensus was.

Sabine Wren (Tie fighter) intensity, title, recon spec and stealth device. 24 points for a ship that can potentially boost/broll each round, evade, then double focus, save a focus for the end phase and flip intensity back over. At 24 points I have space for a lot of different teams to fly with her.

I like it. I just see one problem, it won't hold its weight, you're paying 24 points for a tie fighter, you could sacrifice stealth device to get it cheaper, but it will deal very little damage, while for 10 less points you can fit it Rex who might deal little damage but has a purpose, to remove a die, and if you had Tactician you'll be stressing people too. Just my thoughts.

Edit: just remembered the attack shuttle has a 3 dice primary, you could accomplish the same thing with it, it would be a point or two pricier and less resilient but it would deal more damage.

I tried this. While its fun. It does basically no damage and dies quickly anyway.

Best Rebel tie i have found is naked Rex or vi Ashoka with recon spec.

My favorite overpriced "useless" tie by far is this:

Thinking at 24 pts a y wing with tlt will do more work and draw more attention.

I've actually been running Intensity in this list for the past few weeks with a fair bit of success. People just don't know what to do against it:

That's hilarious.... But I agree Low Price rex and Ahsoka are the best Rebel Ties to fly, I don’t say naked Rex cuz a guy had some pretty good success flying Rex with Tactician without Biggs at Hoth.

Oh man! TWO Hwks!? I LOVE IT! It's one of my favourite ships to fly, isn't Palob a bit overpriced? Is he worth those points? Mine just usually dies in a ball of fire.

Still think intensity might be usable in Sabine's attack shuttle, if someone ever does try it be sure to tell us how it went please.

I've been running Palob & Torkil together for quite a long time in a number of lists, this this just being the most recent permutation. This version of Palob is incredibly tricky to fly, but a complete blast. Those first few turns you're just banking up focus, running along the edge avoiding the enemy. Once you have about 6-10 is when you turn in and enter the obstacle field. People don't know who to go after: The 'filler' in Sunny, the 'hammer' that is Quinn Jast (Did 16 damage with that Concussion Missile over the course of a single game), Torkil who lets all your guys shoot first at the biggest target (He's even better with the prevalence of 2-ship lists right now!) or Palob, who in this list not only steals tokens, but is a barrel-rolling, damage-dealing machine.

I've been wondering about an attack shuttle squad at some point, and Intensity seems a nice cheap way to boost up sabine - she can do wonders with Push The Limit/Kanan, but intensity gives you as many tokens for less points (including the option to double-stack evades if so inclined).
