Gencon tournament results/stats

By j-mart, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

Has anyone seen results (hatamotos and other top performers) and/or statistics (clan breakdown, etc) posted anywhere from Thursday and Friday?

Any way you could copy and paste the results here? The Facebook link appears broken when I click on it.

I think you can't view the link unless you are logged into Facebook and a member of that particular group. I second the request for a copy and past here.

I see a couple old Conquest names. Tobin did pretty well. Go Art Of Warcast. Seth Rosen is an old Urien player. Gotta respect a guy who tried hard to make the worst warlord in that game playable.

I'm not at all surprised that Lion finished best in honor.

Doesn't L5R predate the GoT books? I mean it's hard for me to remember since grrm can't seem to put out his books with any sort of regularity and I've re-read them so many times I don't remember when I first started reading them. I swear they came after L5R and always felt the Nights Watch was inspired by the Crab. But, a lot of my youth is a blur, so..........

L5R came before his first book was published, indeed.

L5R CCG was launched in 1995, A Game of Thrones was published in 1996. However, Martin began writing his book in 1991, so there's little chance that Jon Snow and co. were inspired by the Crab.

Edit: I found this:

Pretty underwhelming to be honest. Inspired by a cold winter in Chicago? Samurai are way cooler ;)

If only there was some kind of ancient wall in Asia...

Hello

Is there an official site with results ?

Will there be one ?

Or as on the old L5R it will be at the whim of the organizers ?

Anyway is there a place where the above results are posted other than on a closed access facebook page ?

Thanks.
