So this again seems like star wars miniatures but it doesn't look like it is compatible with X-wing. Will there even be AT-ATs and snowspeeders?

We don't know but are assuming no until they say otherwise.

The Stormtroopers are the size of the X wing. Seems unlikely they'll interact on the table. Doesn't rule out the possibility of a campaign type product that involves skirmishes in each system.
