[MAFIA] The Wheels of Democracy ***GAME OVER***

By JJs Juggernaut, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

Guessing on cult is pretty dangerous, we don't know which rules JJ would have applied

Do recruits keep roles?

When the leader dies, do all suicide or is another one put in place?

Does the leader die if he recruits mafia?

Too many questions, too many possible iterations and outcomes to make a sensible judgement.

Truth, your role would come in pretty useful right now...

Meh. I maintain it's a stupid ability.

When it's used in D1

Because the town has done so well with their night actions. I maintain that was the best use of the ability. It was certainly the safest.

True too

So, my suspicions, in no particular order;

1-I believe Broba is fake claiming. His claim is unverifiable, and if someone were inclined to then efforts to do so would be harmful to town should it be proven true. Which is pretty much a perfect fake claim.

2-Vis- You really should have shared that visit with roc. I get not putting it on blast because for all you knew that was a cop or a doc or something. But roc?

3-Cal- I choose to believe Vis, and so I choose to believe you

4-Impcap- Says hes padme and a psychologist. Thing is, his claim cost nothing for scum. Moodswing is dead, and clearing me? I mean, a large percentage of town already believed me. It fits his narrative, sure, tried to get me strung up yesterday, couldnt, checked me out and learned he was barking up the wrong tree. Could also be he just needed something that sounded too good for town to lynch. Still, Padme...I'm inclined to give him another evening of work.

5-Process of elimination is a cruel mistress Ninja. I'll read what you have to say, and change my vote if its just absolutely fantastic.

Either the guards have a way of switching or there's a cult or some other way for alignment to switch... otherwise I would of gotten...no... as an answer

Would be pretty cool if one of us became a vengeful SK if the other one dies, but that's likely not the case, so either Judas or indeed cult, which if exists would be already 3 of the present here, assuming there is only one cult

Yeah, JJ's answer is a massive wrench in trying to make sense of anything. Can you just straight up ask if there was a cult leader at the start of the game tonight?

I'm in agreement with Mad. Ninja is kinda the default choice here. Whoever the Scum is this round, I seriously applaud you. We've got very little to go on. I'm a little concerned about Scum heavily influencing the vote right now, so I'll give Ninja a chance to respond before voting.

So I was starting to read and saw Mads post pop up. still haven't read everything through so you guys fit this into what folks have said.

I'm a senator. I'll look the name up but it is the big Twilek one.

I'm a Commuter. I can basically disappear at night.

I've been dropping "commute"and "move" all game. go back and look.

Didnt want to reveal hopefully to get scum to waste a kill on me.

@TheToad would be pretty useful if you asked how many alignments there are in the setup

Orn Free Taa is my name.

That is what I was gonna ask tonight

Also @Madaghmireyou think Broba is fake claiming and you vote for me...?

I mean there isn't really an issue since day is fixed, but this hit me as interesting

Yep, that checks out Ninja. You've got it all over the thread. I'm at a complete loss as to what the **** is going on. I'm just gonna plop my vote on my best read. Vis has been the most consistently scummy. Toad's information is the only thing that makes me even remotely hesitant. Knowing that Toad's information is based on the start of the game, Vis isn't cleared by Toad. There's something going on with the guards for sure.

I have been scummy, intentionally tho. I believed that as at least Mad would know my target, it could potentially be someone targeted by scum where I die as a result. If I played scummy during day and got suspect, scum would have no reason to lynch me, it would be better to keep me alive and push a lynch on me. So I thought it could be potentially benefitial, and I told this to Roc on N2.

I was proven wrong that scum would not target suspects...

Visovics has been scummy all game, and I don't know if that excuse flies super well. I am willing to vote on him as well.

Commuter is another interesting role for a cult game as a commuter can't be turned to a cult, as he is "absent" when visited at night. Essentially if we have a cult Cninj would be cultproof, which is great. It means that if he was attempted to be converted it would be wasted night.

I can see there being some interaction in the guards where one goes SK or Judas but I don't know... it sure seems to me like the whole game is built to counteract a cult. I guess we find out tomorrow either way.

Ninja's ability could also mean the cult is as low as 2.

They could have wasted a night trying to recruit him.

Well you were default. Ill check it out. What did you do N2/3

He said he commuted. He has no reason not to.

I'm back to believing in the cult by the way. Ninja's claim makes a lot of sense in a cult game.

What does that mean? He just disappears?

He leaves town, so he is untargetable for the night, kinda like hider, but you can't possibly die and you can't confirm people. He's also basically unlynchable since he claimed
