I am Riyo Chuchi, Senator from Pantora. I am town aligned and my role is Beloved Princess. If I am lynched during the day, the following day phase will be skipped, resulting in two back to back night phases.

When I started the game I thought the best play for me was early claim so I could get lynch protection for myself, that is why I offered to claim. But then the events of the following day started to confirm the cult, and I saw all the voting shenanigans, AND with Truthi's ability that would counteract my own being already spent, I was extremely worried that the cult voting bloc would push for my lynch and get their win by double converting, so I decided against my claim. However, now I am in a lose lose situation where if I do not claim I am lynched and the cult wins and if I do claim the 3 members of the cult will be pushing for my lynch. But there it is, cards on the table for me, I don't have much left to offer except the fact that I am not the cult leader, and I have not yet been turned into a cultist.

And @TheToad you are right. I wanted it to be that easy, but unfortunately it never is. Still, fruit vendor remains a VERY convenient fake claim for a cult leader as a cult leader will trip all the same bells as fruit vendor.

So taking Toad on face value and the guards are still clear, that means 3 of the 5 remaining are in the cult (leader+2 night recruits right?) with another one as the suspected serial killer. I know I haven't been recruited, so that means we can theoretically hang any of the others to try the theory. Also, keep in mind, Broba could be telling the truth and also recruited into the cult. Which would be very bad for us.

For the guards, can you explain to me exactly what it is you do? Maybe I just missed it, but I sincerely just don't understand. If the cult leader theory is wrong, the wording of JJ's answer makes me think there might be something else going on with you guys.

The safest course of action is just to hang Caldias. His role is about as useless as possible even if he's telling the truth. That would tell us if the cult leader theory is true without risking Broba being truthful and getting a double night.

I did. And I meant it. How the %%$# was I supposed to convey that our ONLY chance of winning way not lynching me without giving the entirety of my role away and %#2$ me over? My ability will win the game for town, in the sense that it is the only way not to lose.

And did you not see where I tagged you and said you were right that I was in error? I just was explaining that I hopped over the issues with the claim because it seemed too convenient that the fake claim that would cover a cult leader extremely well just happened to be caldias' claim. But you are right, it can't be.

No, there are 2 of us; me and Viso. I can corroborate Viso and he, me. We are both bodyguards. Mad is not a bodyguard, we're pretty sure he is our captain.

2, me and Roc, we have a night chat. Mad gives us the order on who to protect, and we can either accept or refuse.

I initially had thought Roc was town because I thought wa had a masonry, then when I asked JJ he said we only knew each other's roles, and Roc suspecting me, made me realize it was a neighbourhood. The thing is, Mad being scum would be wildly unbalanced, because me and Roc would be basically useless. Roc did not appear at any moment scum to me, and would also be unbalanced putting scum and town in a bodyguard chat, since he could know the target of protection, and then just tell scum to go for someone else, so it seemed to me like both were as town as I am.

Nothing, but the Cult reveal has only gone into full effect as of today. I didn't even know that meta existed previously, so I wasn't thinking along those lines in ally my previous posts regarding my thoughts, intuitions, conclusions, etc.

Honestly I think Padme is the one that matches best with Beloved Princess

It is odd flavor wise, but if we have a SK scum like it appears it would be tailor made to fit that game profile. If it's a fake claim, it is a good one. I think Imp is still my #1 candidate for cult, but it really needs to wait on Cninj's claim before we get to voting.

That was my thought too Vis, that was why I was keen to see his claim and if it was somehow related to mine. I honestly had not ran into my role yet in mafia and when I went wtf and hit the wiki to check up on it, some variants came with a protector who could verify the role and defend the princess, since Padme saves Riyo's life a couple times, I thought the flavor fit, but it looks like there ended up being nothing there.

Really the claims are irrelevant if there's a cult at work. They would have started the game with legitimate claims. ImpCap's claim makes me think there is indeed a SK afoot, but that's about it. Best way I see to test things is hang Cal. His role is useless, so the town loses nothing if he still flips town. If he flips town, then I think we can shelve the cult theory.
