So if you guys think its late enough for a claim, I'm down. Ive been holding back because I think my role is much better secret.
Roc's vote on ImpCap right after Broba points to him (without an explanation) is weird.
ImpCaps wall of Pod quotes is sadistic.
Okay, holy ****. I just looked up cults in this game, and that seems ridiculous! If I'm reading it right, they convert someone to the cult each night? Meaning the threat to us continues to grow?
I'm not sure where all my heat is coming from, but that's okay. I've voted three times, and I've owned it each time, and given my reasoning. I'm starting to think Truth might not be 100% cleared, but he still reads more town than not to me.
If you need me the claim, just say the word. I was keeping it to myself because a) it was in the best interest of town for scum not to know my role just so they don't know what to expect and b) I think it's possible I might get lynched based on who I am alone, which would just be another distraction.
My #1 right now is Broba, mostly for calling me out on being "under the radar," but who himself has been extremely under the radar. Broba made two glaring slips after reviewing the wall of Broba. More coming as I delve into the quotes.
Is truth town? I thought he was a 3rd party filibuster

After the weekend is over I will be able to spend much more time in this thread.
That said I have nothing new to add. I would currently vote for Norrell or Imp captain and have explained in depth and multiple occasions that logic. Not interested in any more Pod witch hunts right now and would probably be willing to policy vote him.
Has he been scum yet? Just to compare behavior. Would love to vote him and catch a scum but just don't see us being that lucky.
Okay, this first one just isn't true. I didn't see any "in depth and multiple occasion" analysis coming from Broba after checking Truthi's wall. Anyone want to take a look for themselves? There was some reasoning, but to call it in depth and multiple occasion is hyperbolic, and when I was scum I used hyperbole to try and seem more helpful than I was being.

You certainly are turning the screws. That said I don't see how anything I said isn't for town. Tomorrow I will claim, and we will test my skill and see if I am scum. For now I think you take my sincerity almost as incorrectly as I take your random votes and high pressure. I'm not a high pressure player. And yes, I would consider myself a nice player. For you that's a negative but I do my best to explain my logic for everything I do.
I didn't vote before I went to dinner but declared my vote intentions on Norrel hoping he would see my tag. Since he isn't here and we are out of time my vote will stand ##vote norell
The most glaring thing here is he promised to claim, but never did. That is very scummy to me.

He claimed to be town. I can find where he did in a sec.
Here is where he claimed:

Alright guys here's my theory... WARNING: What follows is speculation...
I think we started this game with 2 threats... a cult leader and a serial killer. A cult makes senses with the flavor... a rouge senator convincing others to join his coalition and clog up the democratic process
a serial then makes sense because in mafia people need to die otherwise the game dosnt work...
N1 we have two threats (speculation)
N2 we have 3 ( this is confirmed)
i believe we currently have4 threats... an SK a cult leader and two cult members...
This is reinforced by the Truthis ability... stopping the cult for a night
and Impcaps claimed ability... which will show positive on an SK but not a cultie
anybody now what Moods role does?
I voted for Imperial Captain last night because I think his overall behavior has been very suspect this whole game. I can't put a finger on it. He's been pretty quiet and (I don't think anyway), not really contributed much to things. I could be swayed.

He visits someone and receives EVERYONE who visited that person over all nights, so like a watcher, but he can know who visited from previous nights too

So assuming the cult leader has to visit the person he intends to convert, the forensic investigator would see the cult doing its thing

If we flip the cult leader it is basically a cult cop
It's so nice with Pod dead isn't it? Nice, coherent thoughts from everyone. Aaaaahhhhh!
So here's where I'm at... Mad Roc Vis and myself are the only ones I know are safe that leaves
Cal Imp Broba Truthi Ninja
Truthi is neither the SK or cult leader but he might be a cultie now
Imps claim is floating for the moment... he might still be a cultie
so that leaves Broba Cal and Ninja... I believe one of them is a SK, one is a Cult leader and one is a cultie
I wanna hear @Truthiness' thoughts...

wait so when you asked about threats, was 3 the how many threats the game started with or how many threats were there by the time you asked it?
which means N3 we have 4 threats.
Which means...we have to lynch a Cultist today or the game is over.
If we lynch a townie then it's 8 Total / 4 Culties
and tonight they kill a townie and/or convert another, which means they control the vote, GG.
Wait..no. It may already be game over.
If we lynch a cultist today, then it's 8 / 3 going into night.
They can kill a townie and convert in the same night, we end night at 7 / 4, and thus, gg.
....
Oh, the only way we can win is if we lynch the cult leader today.
##unvote ImperialCaptain2017
let me think this through more.

I asked N1 ( which should have been N2) how many threats to town are there?
I got 3 as an answer... now at first I assumed that meant there were 3 at the beginning of the game because I can only ask question that pertain to the game BEFORE roles are given...
but when JJ answered my second question with yet... that was hinting at knowledge based on events AFTER roles were given
which leads me to believe that my first question was answered with the current number(at the time I asked) of threats and not the threats at the beginning of the game
here are my two possibilities...
either there are 4 threats (SK CL C C)
or there are 5 threats (SK CL C C ?) maybe 2 scum and no SK

If it was the second one, wouldn't JJ have already declared game over?
If it's the first, one, it might as well be game over, unless we can lynch cult leader today.
Just now, Rocmistro said:If it was the second one, wouldn't JJ have already declared game over?

No because the cult and the scum aren't the same group( they are both trying to get a majority separately)
and the SK just wants to kill everybody else
So, if I'm understanding how the cult thing works, then nobody is really "clear." Any of us could be cultists. I think Roc is right, finding the cult leader is the key to not letting this game run away from us. With The Toad's scenarios, my money is on Broba being either cult leader or scum/SK, for the reasons I shared earlier.
I think the unclaimed are a good place to start, and if the (mostly) confirmed town need a claim from me to feel better, I'm happy to do it.
I'd like to hear a defense from @BrobaFett to address the concerns I broached. This vote needs to be a good one.
you guys are the only ones I am sure about and we need to play this right because I believe we are in a LYLO situation...
I wish I could just declare supreme rule and liquidate the senate now?

Toad, thanks for your trust. Unfortunately I'm afraid I have no idea who the head of the snake may be. I have what I think are pretty good suspicions on who at least are threats, but no idea who the kingpin is. :-( My role gives me nothing in the way of clairvoyance to the threats, nor does Viso's. Near as I can tell it's a crapshoot, with about a 20% chance of getting it right.
