Well, it doesn't much matter right now. I've suspected Madaghmire for a little while now, since his role in the Triumvirate seems especially shadowy. @Rocmistro, @Visovics, any thoughts on Madaghmire would be appreciated.

Another long day in session. Arguments fly, the floor is chaos. Everyone knows it was the Neimoidian...it must be, such a scummy race. Obviously senator Lott Dod of the Trade Federation must be guilty. Everyone is so convinced, it takes almost a day after his execution for anyone to both checking his personal files. He was so disliked anyway, no one was all that distressed when he was found innocent.

While the committee was debating endlessly, Coruscant Security Force Inspector Tan Divo was on the case of Senator Bail Organa's murder. He couldn't allow such a crime to go in answered. The deceased senator's office was on complete lockdown, security droids made sure no one could get within several hundred yards as forensic teams analyzed every square inch of the room. One of the techs called Inspector Divo over to a vent in the wall, having spotted something behind it. Before Divo could interject, the tech pulled the vent out of the wall triggering the explosive via the unseen tripwire. The trap left behind by the killer obliterated not only that room, but the next several in all directions...

I got some interesting info...

I just going to come out and say that I'm a town aligned oracle... each night I can sit in my room and use my non-sith powers to ask the ghost of JJ a question. There are two stipulations...

i can only ask question that pertain to the game BEFORE the roles were given out so I can't ask if a specific player is a threat( I can however use the flavor to verify peeps, which is why I was being nosy yesterday)

the other stipulation is the the answer is restricted to 2 words

N1 I asked how many threats to town there were and I was told 3

last night I asked if any of the senate guards or their captain was a threat to town... my answer was... not yet

so here's the problem...

either one of the guards or captain has an interaction we don't know about... and they can switch sides...

we have a cult...

or I phrased my question wrong and the ghost of JJ is ******* with me

i decided that a full reveal was necessary in order to bring this conundrum to light because the plot has thickened

I dont have anything in my pm that sheds any light on that toad. There are roles that start town and will become vengeful should one or the other die.

By which I mean, I'd speculate that whichever faction kills a guard loses the other one. So maybe we dont lynch the guards?

Wow, that's a lot to take in. I'm afraid I can't shed any light on that, the Toad, but thanks for the info. I'm off to bed, but will be back in the morning to try and help make sense of what you were able to find out.

Anywho, assuming Toad is leading a masters class in dominating the game, we know there are three threats to town.

If we are taking Toad as given, then it follows he is telling the truth regarding the guards and myself as well. Thats 4 players we can reasonably assume are town, at least for the moment.

Truth, at the very least, didnt lie about the filibuster. I dont think he used it particularly well, so I wouldn't clear him late game, but I'm also unwilling to push him now, because there are undoubtably bigger fish to fry.

Moodswing was clearly our cop. So that loss sucks. Worth going back trying to see if there was anyone he looked suspicious of d1-2 that he inexplicably decided wasnt worth the bother for d3. Hats off to scum on that kill.

So, myself, Roc, Vis, Toad and Truth would appear to be pretty town.

That leaves three scum in a pool of Impcap, Cal, Ninja and Broba.

We need to catch a predator here gang. Now, I believe Impcap claimed Padme, who strikes me as an unlikely scum flavor. That doesnt mean he isn't. One would have thought Palpatine was a one way trip to the gallows. Worth noting though, as I feel except for that claim, he strikes me as playing a scum game.

Also we don't know why Gnips fed him both barrels. Did he make that claim prior to Nippy getting hung?

None of the scum have had, to me, any major slips. I need to go back over the action of the past couple days looking hard at each.

Open to suggestions.

Holy smokes.... What an odd nightkill. @TheToad that answer plus everything else definitely makes me think cult. Which means we gotta get in gear and find the cult leader.

Cults are super hard to beat, which is why typically when you get a cult you get specific tools to deal with them. Like truths filibuster that skips a recruitment phase for them. I know I wasn't alone suspecting cult super early on in this game, @Visovics mentioned it too, which that plus the answer to the toad last night means we can be guaranteed he is not the leader or a cultist. That is a good start.

If we are dealing with a cult so far we have had 2 nights, so looking at a cult of 3 right now. If we don't get the cult leader today than as of tomorrow the cult will control the day lynch.

imp captain and Caldias have gone way below the radar this game, which is exactly how cults want to work, so I say we start there. As it stands right now, they are tied for largest threat to the town in my book.

So it definitely seems we have a cult, which mean of the initial 3 threat, there is either 2 scum, or another 3rd party and an SK, means we also need this lynch to be good!

Yeah, but the answer being the not yet shows there is a possibility of turning, so either there's a cult or one of us is a Judas or some condition can get us to change alignment.

We all (should) know that I'm Senator Padme Amidala by now, but I may as well throw it out there that I'm a Psychologist. This basically means I can see who is a killer and who is not. So far I've found that Mood wasn't a killer (no help now) and that Madaghmire is not a killer either. Honestly I thought he was scum, as you can see from my post on D3... anyway, that brings me to this suspicion list:
