I really hate mass claiming. I'm not for it, but if that's what people want to do, then I imagine that I'll have no choice. In general though, I think it just makes scums lives easier as long as they can manage a halfway decent fake claim.
I feel the same now as I did before about claiming. And mads is right. Anyone who's played this game twice can claim authentic enough to pass muster.
We have two vote records and a body. We should be able to gather some info off of that before mass claims.
It's been a long day for me. I'll get some analysis done in the morning.

With the entire committee flustered over the execution of senator Mon Mothma, the continued session's debates reveal nothing new as the accusations become more outrageous. Tempers flair and the debate stalls. Soon someone points out that senator Onaconda Farr has been largely silent during the debates, only the instigator of this whole plot would sit quietly by, it had to be him! Before even being able to profess his innocence, the senator was hauled away. The investigation team was quicker this time, they proved his innocence...but just shortly after his execution.
@Norell has been lynched. He was a town aligned cowardly-reporter.

Hey all, just got back on. Ugh, that sucks. Norrell was clean and we lost Ovi, I really hate Norrell didn't get a chance to defend himself. Toad found out there are three threats to town, would that mean there are less scum than we thought? Maybe only two if there's another threat?
Yeah I also don't think we all need to start claiming yet. I think claiming might've been what got Ovi killed in the first place. I still think we're in an okay position. Okay, but not great.
Mass claiming will be a mistake, I believe Ovi was killed because scum knew there was no way to accuse him, he was Bail Organa, kinda hard to convince people to vote on him. If there are 3 scum, that's good, it's less than we thought, tho makes more likely for them to have powerful roles
Oh, and better get this out of the way, something happened to me at night and I can't vote

I don't want or need everyone to claim, but I do need to understand better the interactions of the trio for peace of mind.

Okay, along with this idea, so I was trying to compile a list of who the possible scum are and compare it to the vote records. Here are my personal suspicions (those not on the list are dead, claimed, or I'm sure are town) :

Ok everyone, posting this before my morning commute to work:
The loss of Ovin as a Gladiator (we lost Demo!) is a big blow to us. That really sucks ***. @ImperialCaptain2017I totally understand your logic on the votes, and was starting to look at that. The only thing I would add to the group is Truthiness. While I do think he's town, I don't think that is at 100%.
I'm inclined to believe Chancellor Palp (TheToad) for now that there are three scum we're hunting. The problem is I doubt highly that they would be dumb enough to go all in on the two votes we've had. I myself have made sure to be on the votes this game, because of JJ's time-frame and the fact that votes and possible scum hammers help the town.
@Visovicsyou are 100% sure on Madaghmire? I only ask because he is in the sweet-spot on both votes.
I'll check back in later if I can during work but definitely tonight.

Would love to. My GNiPs vote was Day One and I did it to help ensure Truthiness used his ability to verify information, which helped town figure something out. My Day 2 vote was the second vote on Norrell and I didn't even know if it would lead to a lynch. I was looking for a defense, which sadly never came, and I was on toward the end of the day, letting everyone know that if a better prospect comes along, I would happily change my vote should a convincing case be made. Hate that Norrell flipped town, but still was better than a no-vote.
I agree with Ninja's assessment that scum would be suicidal to put all of their votes on both lynches, unless it was absolutely necessary. I suggest watching the Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street." I think there is probably one more more scum on both votes, but doubtful the same, esp since I know Mad and Ninja are experienced players, and I know I'm clear, but fair enough since no one else does. And I'm almost positive there's one or more scum laughing his or her *** off and not voting or being aloof.
I'm interested in the aloof ones. Gotta get going at work, but I want to look for scumariners or no voters, if there are any.
