I play a politico Bothan (in my mind I like to think of myself as a Politico Economist though) and thus I have a fair few extra credits lying around due to my lack of spending on weapons and gear. So my question is, have you had any experience on investing credits?

How did you run in it? Did you get options, as in term deposits in the Galactic Bank? Shares in large imperial ship building firms? How complex did you make it? Could you influence your dividends and share price? (By destroying competitions warehouses and factories). Did the banks interest rates fluctuate? Could you buy an investment property on Coruscant under a false name?

I would love to see all of this in our game, however was curious as to see your experiences and how you ran it.

Take a look at the Entrepreneur specialization for one way this game deals with investments. Sure others can play at it too, but this gives you somewhere to start.

Thank you, yeah I have seen it, but it's really basic and essentially has no interesting side to the investment. I guess not many people probably do this stuff... haha

Hahaha good shout. And yeah, I'm not expecting the true EotE Books to have in depth investment... hence why I asked your guys experience and if you guys have done anything (house rules stuff)

Far Horizons book had a section on running a shop, where you could invest in upgrades to get a steady income as a return, you had to invest either credits or obligation.
