No way I'm the first to notice this, but in looking at the pics of the presentation for the Star Wing, a close look at what appears to be the Advanced SLAM card has different text then the existing card.

Probably just the inclusion of the errata'd rules.

You can definitely tell. Look at it side-by-side with the k-wing version and it doesn't match up
...so this confirms that a FAQ is coming that WILL change Advanced SLAM.

Pretty much. Still not 100% it's change the leak says it would be, but it does make sense.

I think I finally saw my reason to go imperial... I can now fly my entire childhood under the imperial banner (well aside from the avenger, maybe someday...)

Tie avenger and defender both had shields

The gunboat had lots of ordnance though... 16 missiles or 12 torpedos (I had to look that up again, but I remembered it was very high). I killed cr90s solo with that thing!

Since Reload is on the action bar, the nerf probably wont affect the reason why the ship gets SLAM (ie shoot/slam/reload/repeat). Seems to be fitting the hit and run tactics they are trying to get into the game.
