Do they? With only 3 dice and compulsory move3 i think they'll get a shot, fly by and get shot, and maybe not shoot again too often. How much can they pivot? Is every unit's first2 actions going to be Aim and Dodge token stashing?

Compulsory move can be pronounced “free move”. Move, Aim and Fire every round.

Tokens go away if unused by the end of the turn, and most units don’t have a free action attack option. So perhaps dodge or aim, but only if the unit is already in a good position.

I think you may be confusing game efficiency with "OMG freeking speederbikes... COOOOOLLLLLL.... LOL!!! "
I agree that the models look good, and are super cool (I too had the model from mid-80's - that "explode" button on the back rocked).
In the game I think it will be how important being able to flank etc is. I think when you get onto 6x3 tables the effectiveness of speed will come through, or not... but we'll see.

This was my terrain in mid December, I have a few more bits added. Enough that adding more would be a concern as there may be too much terrain.
So far the games we are seeing are on a 3x3' table and the ability to flank and get into the rear ranks of an opponent is harder than it should be.

Seems like the movement tools allow you a maximum angle of 90 degrees. Pivoting is maximum 90 degrees, so with the compulsory move a speeder bike can do a 180 about turn in 1 round if needed.
