Adv SLAM is included in the gunboat and the word spacing is different that the original. Miranda is nerfed. Aces all over rejoice! And then they remember Nym still exists...

I believe they did do an FAQ edit to stop it from it working after overlapping obstacles. Gotta check if it changed any wording on the card though.

This possible FAQ could also mean a fixed Biggs.
Edited by XerandarIn looking at the card, it definitely appears to have the word "your" at the end of it, so it seems likely to be changed to work with actions on your action bar.

The "leaked" FAQ may have been for the Gunboat rules.

Outside of a possible unique crew I don't see them ever releasing an upgrade with two different version under the same name that worked differently.

No. The gunboat doesn't have bomb slots, at least not unless that's hiding in a title behind the other visible upgrade cards.
Even with both having slam and even if the advanced slam is the same for both factions either by faq or whatever else, they will fly differently (though admittedly the kwing can be flown like a gunboat, everybody just flies it more like a bomber). Kwings drop bombs, gunboats like to hit hard with missiles or torps.

"THE" FAQ is a living document. what was revealed was just a snapshot in time, not what it must be when released.

potentially different slam text doesnt prove anything. critical thinking man. they could change every rule in the game through an faq, but if they dont change it the way the "leaker" claims, then its fake. if the faq arrives and all of the "leakers" claims are proven true, then i'll accept that I was wrong. if the faq is significantly different, then it will definitively prove that the leaker was a liar and everyone who swore it was verified was clueless. at present there is no evidence online that supports the claims people have been making. doesnt mean its fake, but Occams Razor sure points to it being a hoax

then why leak it at all? why(to paraphrase) say "these are the upcoming changes"?
Because releasing the FAQ out of the blue a week before a major tournamnet, as FFG has done previously, isnt a level playing field between (playtesters and people they played with, who know what's being nerfed) and (people who have been practicing for months, who get their list nerfed just before the tournament).
The specifics almost dont even matter. It's a fair warning that if you run loaded Jumpmasters, or advanced slam bombers, to not be suprised when FFG kills your list, because those architypes were in FFGs sights when the "leak" happened.
