This includes any tournament where the winner gets a first-round bye for Worlds (2018 calendar year), and includes country-specific tournaments like at Nova Open (United States Championships), as well as region-based tournaments such as Gen Con (North American Championships).

Edit: I was thinking of the more recent European Team tournament. The nationals level European event definitely belongs on the list.

Europeans granted a bye to Worlds (I might be mistaken, but it should also grant travel and accomodation costs). It had the same prize of Gencon

Euros has the exact same prize structure as NA. The two are Continental level, so one below worlds and one above nationals.

If anything, Gencon is certainly not a Nationals, but a continental championship, at exactly the same level of Euro's. So either Gencon should be removed from this list or Euro's added :)

It was exactly the same structure as GenCon, giving the exact same prizes (except the green deck box said European Championship instead). The winner was awarded a bye and travel to worlds.

I think I was thinking about a more recent tournament over the last week that had nothing to do with the FFG national-level event.

You got confused with the ETC, the European team championship. It isn't ffg affiliated and it saw 8 team from different nations of 6 players.

While it had only 48 overall players, it's hard to call it a store champions considering those were some of the best players of Europe, selected to represent their country.

I understand he confusion thought, I hope to have shred some light about it

I wonder what his Nym build is, but personally I like Rebel Nym with TLT to counter Scum Nym with ABT. With a bid and advanced sensors, scum nym should never touch you.
