So now that we know they are costed at 10 instead of 8 what's everyone's predictions for stats and abilities?
Elite Sentry Droids
I'm not sure what to think about the 10 value. I was getting excited thinking they would be 8, hoping they would be 7. 10 is going to be tough, hope they are worth it.
My gut instinct:
- Lots more HP than we expected: 8 or 9.
- No DMG reduction for Multi-Shot
- Surge for +2 DMG, Surge for +2 Accuracy
- Charged Shot has +3 Accuracy and a Harmful condition (Weakened?)
Prediction:
Blue dice in place of the +2 accuracy on Charged Shot

Given that the regs were 6, 7 is a bit of a stretch, but I'm with ya, i was really pulling for a 8-9 to be in Weequay territory. I really hope they fulfill their +4 pts from the regs. I'm still hopeful.

Multi-fire doesn't have to have different targets either. (that's my guess)
I'll say the elites have an inherent +2 acc. and the +1 damage becomes 2, or the +1 acc, becomes +1 damage.

I missed where we got to see this. Someone get a pic of the stuff in the case?

I can't imagine that they will get played if that's the case. They are going to need at least double the health for their cost or have some way to get an extra die. No way am I paying 5 points per droid and not getting 3 dice taking into account figures like Hera and BT. I'm hoping for a huge increase in something or at least some inherent damage added to them somehow.
My Elite Sentry Droid prediction from that topic:
Cost 8, No additional abilities, Rapid Fire instead of Multi-Fire, Surge for 2 DMG instead of 1 DMG, Surge for +2 Range instead of +1. Maybe an additional +1 range, +1 DMG or even a Focus on the Charged Weapon, called Over-Charged Shot.
Cost 8 is wrong for sure.

?
No new additions now that we know we're paying 2 more?
I'm hoping to see an additional ability, something that warrants the Guardian trait.
Sorry I'm confused, where did this information come from?

Dice Tower posted a album of images with some from the FFG booths. In the pictures you can see the eSentry Droids are costed at 10.

Cheers.
So wait, will riot troopers costed at 7 points? Doesn't seem to shabby.

I heard somewhere that elite Riot Troopers have a Campaign-only deployment card & a Skirmish-only deployment card. So we may be seeing the Campaign-only card cost.
It's hard to make out the symbol when you zoom in, but it looks like the skirmish symbol on the eRiot trooper. Definitely the campaign symbol on the normal riot trooper. Also (maybe) interesting is that the eRiot card appears to be sitting on top of another deployment card that only has one figure.

It's elite without a card for a regular so it's likely the AT-DP.

Yeah. Probably not that interesting then.
And now that I've spent a lot of time zoomed in on the photo, it looks like Palpatines deployment card does not say that he has any number of figures in the group. Has this been discussed anywhere? I looked back at the announcement for the packs, and he's missing it there as well.
I agree that there isn't a number of units per group there as there should, It would be interesting if you could make a hose rule to have two or three palps out on the map.

The Emperor on the board and *not* on the board at the same time: Schrödinger's Sith.

huh.
yeah the number of figures in Palpatine's group is [UNDEFINED].
So I guess you just get to pick how many Emperor's you want. Clone Palpy confirmed!?
Palpatine doesn't need elite pips on his uniform. If you can call hobbling around in a cowl an uniform.
