I know... not exactly selling points, but then again it could have the giraffe neck to go with it.

I actually like the look of the Interdictor, but the giraffe ISD would look so dumb next to the other ISDs.

Personally I just want Chimaera in a booster pack...

I've still got unconfirmed rumours waiting in the edges, too. Mostly, I want to see if any of them pan out... it'd help in assessing credibility of my sources going foward.

With FFG announcing TI4, Fallout, releasing the latest Imperial Assault add-on and pushing the 5 rings game plus fresh rumours of a new epic ground based SW game, it's distinctly possible there will be no new Armada or XW releases. I will be disappointed if that's the case though.

the theme is that Imps are having to strain to come up with something. I would not be surprised if we end up having to wit until the new movie comes out. Hopefully there is some source material to pull from in the new movie.

Also hoping for a plot that does not boil down to, "Yo, if you got a problem, I'll solve it, send in the X-wings,"

I'd suspect that the Chimera would have to come with something that made other ISDs valuable too. That's the only real sense I could make of them releasing it. The model will likely be the ISD-I. This way, players who use ISD-Is from the previous set could use this model. I'd also expect some sort of modification, or title to make make other ISDs from the original set, either cheaper, or more powerful/defensive... as to not ruin the value of the Imperial class expansion, and perhaps not limit the Chimera's usefulness to one expansion per player...

That said, it may also be much easier to use one of the other various large ships in the EU, include thrawn and the title chimera... and have that be the end of it...

Whatever the case. I hope for Chimera and Thrawn, but honestly any large/medium ship would end up tickling me.

My Guess would be the MC75 for Rebels. If they're going to do a 4 ship wave, I'd suspect the Bra'tok/Dornean/Whatever else you want to call it flotilla.

Imperials, I'm only going to call no SSD is announced. I don't foresee Epic Armada. The ISD I/Chimera seems too the same to justify selling it. The Finalizer also seems too big for Armada, but it's about the only movie canon non-prequel ship not in the game that I can think of. I kind of am hoping for some Legends ships for the Imperials.

You know... a possibility also exists that they will announce that they are canceling all future Armada development to focus on Runewars.

Im not saying it's a good possibility, but it could rune our day tomorrow if it did happen.
