Title might be a little confusing, wasn't sure how to word it. I've gotten into Armada and as I am the only one of my friends that can afford to, I'm buying just about everything. I have 2 of every ship expansions, 3 MC30Cs. I have 5 squad packs for both factions, of packs 1 and 2, 4 rogues and villains, and 2 cores. My question is which pieces should I branch out for thirds/fourths of? I've seen some lists running multiple raiders, cr90s, carriers, gozantis, etc etc. Thanks for the input.

Definitely buy those smaller ships, and the ships that have the useful upgrades. I'd recommend Raiders, CR90s, Hammerheads, and MANY flotillas. Flotillas tend to be the things you want to have at least two of in a list, they are SO useful. I'd recommend 4-5 of each flotilla expansion(Rebel Transports, Imperial Assault Carriers)
A third raider, and possibly a fourth, is definately a good buy. With that many ships, a third copy of each flotilla is a decent choice (Four of each... is competitive, but I'm not sure 4+ Flotillas and One Ship is a good choice if you're playing with friends). A fifth CR-90 Might be nice too, but it depends on what sort of lists you like. I wouldn't go with more hammerheads unless you know you like them en masse. You might also consider buying more Yt-2400s, but you should definately buy them individually off ebay. With 4 Firesprays already, it's the only squadron in R&V you'd want more of. Some alt art promos of upgrades of important upgrades only found in one expansion like Xi7 turbolasers and turbolasers reroute circuits might be a good idea too.
Awesome, I appreciate the responses. I agree that I don't really need to many if mainly playing with friends and such. Next year after my twins are born, I hope to get into competitive play. I'm the type of person that wants to be prepared for a changing meta. Who knows what upgrades, commanders, etc will come out with Waves 7 and on. I would rather have a huge collection to know that if there comes a card that makes CR-90s godlike, that I am ready to roll once I get those things.
How many yt-2400s would you suggest to be competitive with a fleet that utilizes multiples? How many copies of Xi7, trc, and how many of any other upgrade cards would you recommend? Do you feel ebay is the best place to get alt art promos of those types of cards, or has anyone found any good sites that sell individuals?

I know ebay sells those individual cards for pretty good prices, usually a dollar for an upgrade. I'd recommend 4 YT2400s, and 3-4 XI7s and TRCs.
You can run up to 8 YT-2400s in a list, and it can be pretty effective. 6 YT-2400s makes for a decent smaller group. Alternatively, you could use 4 of them as a second wave for; I would try them out and see how you like them before buying them since they do seem to go for almost $10 each on Ebay if you have to pay shipping.
As for upgrades;
As many turbolaser reroute circuits as you have Cr-90s is helpful, while you probably won't need more than one more copy of Xi7 turbolasers since they're best used on ships with heavy guns like the ISD or Mon Calamari Cruisers. Having checked, I think those are the only upgrades released as promos that aren't available in multiple expansions.
Awesome, I will look into it. Thanks again guys!
One more thing: Do you have CC?
Yep. I was actually able to get an amazing deal on it. Found a shop up in Janesville, WI where I picked up CC for literally $1.00. Sure it had about $10 shipping since they are one of those stores that uses a single price whether you get 1 item or 100 items, but still, $11 for CC when it was awaiting reprint. I was pretty darn happy about that!
Gee, I wish I didn't already have CC, I could've asked you to get it for me and I would pay you later!
LOL. Yeah, I was looking for places that had used, near mint pieces to expand my collection to save on some money. Googling led me to NobleKnight.com which had some used pieces and a 2 base game with 13 expansions bundle. After browsing I found a brand new sealed CC for $1.00. I figured it was a typo so contacted them and was told it was correct. Jumped on it immediately.
